OSU Fans Calling into WFAN to Defend Tressel

Submitted by Marley Nowell on

Arguments for Saint Tress include:

"He thought his players were selling drugs!"

"It was a white lie!  What crimes did he committ?"

"He's not as bad as that scumbag Pearl."

They also flaunt their ability to spell their four-letter state and throw their waste at people who like different football teams. Are you surprised?

I happen to be back home, in Toledo over the weekend, for a Birthday party.  While there I ran into my Sisters in-Laws who are all OSU fans.  I just can't believe the ignorance they have over the seriousness of the implications of Tressels actions.  They truely don't feel as though he did anything wrong, AT ALL.  Tressel will be ever known as a Saint in that Shitty State!

Beating Michigan, even if it means not playing by the rules, makes Tressel above the law in their eyes.  I can't say their reaction surprises me.

This is America's worst fan base we're talking about here.  Tressel can say and do whatever the hell he wants no matter how dirty and they'll see nothing wrong with it.

an OSU fan I know at my little sisters track meet. I asked him if I could exchange my state championship wrestling ring for some tattoos, and he just walked away.

And the AD get fired, I wonder if Al Davis will have any interest in the OSU AD  job? I can't think of a better use for Al Davis, other than dying of course. Saying that, we all must realize that Al Davis will out live us all.

to stay at the helm as long as he can, even if his fingernails break off, one by one, in holding on. Every extra day helps Michigan.

I am hearing that is soothing Buckeye souls right now is that Urban Meyer now lives in Arlington, OH (Columbus suburb) and is ready to accept the job when it opens.

This is no sarcasm and the lady that told me this is old enough to be my mother (her husband is a big $$ Buckeye supporter), and I'm 40.  She has entertained me for years.

That rumor has been going around for a while now, so who knows.  Also, Les Miles bought a house in Ann Arbor twice over the last four years I think.  These rumors happen all the time.

However, if it were to happen, my hatred for Urban Meyer would be up there with just about anyone.

I emailed a guy I work with the list of all the known infractions, and his only response was that at least Ohio State is honest about thier cheating.  I simply laughed and reminded him that Tressel lied, but that they wont have to worry about him much longer.
