Indiana is the reverse-champion this year, taking the longest to receive any commitments.
...ala Montgomery Burns......Excellent....
Are there any five star recruits that we have offered and have a shot at?
We're already off to such a great start that I wouldn't have believed possible in January, but I can only imagine the class we could pull together with the momentum generated by a few five star commits. Damn you, Zeke Pike.
Now once Dunn drops off and falls to us we'll move on up to #1. But really, let's just keep the commitments coming. A top 10 class would be wonderful!
...that this coaching staff recruits very well.
...my first thought.
Especially since their competition's had more time to recruit these guys (Dunn committed to OSU before Hoke got the job here, for example).
They should, there won't be an easier time to recruit unless they're coming of a BCS win. Its not hard to sell the program when there is little if anything negative to point to.
I'm pretty sure Bolden is on the Rivals watch list
P.S. - I've always been a huge fan of these rankings! Thanks for the rgeat work as usual.
I just check and he isn't on the Rivals watch list. But there are many other possible M commits on there.
I thought Bri'onte Dunn re-opened his recruiting? Doesn't that mean he decommitted?
He never de-committed. He's just being thorough in case Tressel-gate Armageddon happens at OSU.
Michigan gets a five star commit it will be Jarron Jones the DT soft commit to Penn State.
I was wondering about this guy because I haven't seen too much information about him on the board other than the post from TomVH. What has given you the impression that we might be in good position to land him? /genuine curiosity
Has he scheduled a UM visit? I know his scheduled ND visit is one of the reasons for his soft status
It's possible (probable?) that Michigan already has a couple. Scout hasn't given all of their 5 star ratings yet, and with the number 2 and 3 rated MLB in the fold, there's a decent chance that one of them, if not both, will receive a fifth star before signing day.
I like how this is going...
So CBarnett2011 twitter is tweeting w/ tomvh about a recruit
Maybe Pike has had a change of mind. See below....
deleted sorry for the double post...
love the edit option.
now i just need the delete
Could we please drop them from the list? They do not matter anymore.
I wouldn't include the Irish even "if they got down on their hands and knees and begged....To hell with Notre Dame."
Michigan's average star ranking right now (3.57) would have been good enough for #8 on Rivals or #9 on Scout in the class of 2011.
And more to come
certainly a solid trajectory to be on
I know its not even close to signing day but seeing Michigan near the top is awesome.
finally, a coaching staff that knows to recruit DEFENSE FIRST. great job so far to Brady Hoke and his staff!
Fantastic post. I felt your blog is extremely interesting. Thanks! Indoor Growing
