I am absolutely positive they will change this, it is still in development
and if they don't add them.... i don't know what i would do
Somehow this just isn't right:
Red shirt with a Nike swoosh? Ewwww!

Must be a trick. Will he be even faster without the long hair? Next thing you know he'll be tying those shoes.

Probably for legal reasons. Thanks a lot O'Bannon. (Caveat, I actually respect what O'Bannon is doing.)

You can edit players so its ok

The game didnt have dreads as an option last year.
Exactly, because there were no dreads in last years game. They announced that they will be in this years game, though (thats why people are so mad that Denard wont have them), so it will be an option.
Cool, I missed that. The guys that name the rosters and do all the apperence changes will update him I'm sure.
If you watch through, some Baylor player has dreads.
I am more concerned about Denard looking like a fullback.

Sorry about the double post. Trying to figure out this damn Mgodroid app.

That's not Denard. That's QB #16. Jeez, don't you know anything?!?
Wait, John Navarre is back in the game? I'm confused.

Might have something to do with the Keller lawsuit. Adding Denard's dreads kinda hurts their argument that they aren't creating likenesses, as silly as that argument is anyway.

there was video of Pryor still throwing like a girl. Isnt that still considered " a players likeness"?
...is QB #2 for Ohio only eligible for half of the season?
April 22nd, 2011 at 12:45 PM ^
Inaccurate game. I saw someone tackle Denard. We all know that's not possible.
Only a 10-yard gain? Really!?
Against Notre Dame too. 20 yards or more every time.

Atleast all the improvements look pretty good. Everything they said they improved in the video I absolutely hated in the older versions.

of playing a 3-3-5 in the Big Ten. RETARDED!
April 22nd, 2011 at 12:49 PM ^
umm.. wtf was that catch animation for baylor? it looked like a normal catch with the reciever then just falling down...
April 22nd, 2011 at 12:53 PM ^
Hopefully that would be a pass that wouldn't have been caught in previous games. Not just a ridiculous feature that prevents you from gaining YAC

He won't have dreads in the real game either, his facemask/helmet is also incorrect, and for some reason Michigan has white shoes. The first two are normal, as Tim Tebow was always skewed - along with many other players. But the white shoes? Why?
Michigan is definitely not wearing white shoes in that video...
Multiple issues on my end: Instead of editing my post, i accidently posted a new one. Whoops. Also, there's another gameplay video out where there's more UofM, and they're away at ND with white shoes. But I forgot that you can choose whatever shoe setup before the game, and that's what they did so it's a non-issue.

I will believe all that upgrade talk from Herbie when I actualy play the demo. Until then my expectations will not be raised.
Just go to edit player and give him dreads. It will be the first thing I do when I get the game. Glad to see diving catches and that the zone defense actually works. In '11 everybody played zone Michigan style, not covering anybody.
Other players in the video have dreads, so I would assume dreads are going to be a hairstyle option. Also agree with what was mentioned above, still have a few months before the release, so that'll give cyber denard time to grow his hair out and have dreads by the release date.
...are his shoelaces untied? Because that is the important critical item.
Gamestop you get the Denard with dreads upload.
He also looks slow and abut 6' 4" so...yeah...
I love NCAA Football as much as the next guy but these videos aren't doing it for me. NCAA needs to take some lessons from NHL 11 -- incredible game.
This is so inaccurate! Pryor has no tattoos.
calm down, it was a work in progress bar on there so they probably haven't got to all small details yet. there were a few things that they needed to fix. if you look at the osu-michigan screen shots, jt floyd has them but in th video he doesn't
Before people panic, realize that these are all things that will most likely be easily changed in under 10 seconds. They kind of got sued for having players' likenesses on there.
There's no dreads! It's clearly not Denard!
If EA fucks it up, the modders will fix it. Don't worry :)
Also got to agree that shying away from putting authentic likenesses, whether due to lawsuit or whatever, is pretty asinine.
You need to slow down the video to 1/2000 speed. The dreads are the dark blur about 4/5ths of the way up behind the blue and yellow blur.
When you slow it down you'll also note the name on his jersey about 4 yards back trying to reattach itself.
Rumor has it that Denards speed will be 200
I just like that the preview ends with Terrell "money bags" Pryor getting smashed...

Assuming EA continues their overkill ways, zone coverage will be insanely difficult to pass against, probably like the NCAA 2005 version.
The 2005 zone wasn't the problem (at least a CB in your way meant don't pass) but the drops. Oh the drops. 2010 was the "all your pass are belong to us" one, where if your receiver was 20 yards downfield you'd still chuck it to a linebacker on the LOS.
Does this make 2011 the EVERY PASS GETS BATTED AT THE LINE edition?
