Kim cut threat #2
Well he didnt make the cut. The cut was at +1 and Els was the last to make it. I just got home from the Masters and he represented out there well today. A lot of Michigan fans out there including the reporter from Michigan that was following, his coach, his family (his dad was a great guy) and a swarm of Maize and Blue. I was very impressed by his following and even more the fact that he did beat his group today.
I was cheering for him from home. I was upset I didn't get to see any of his strokes this week. Too bad he didn't make the cut.
Tiger dominated today though, for me that was awesome to see. Golf is just better with him in contention, especially when he plays as brilliantly as he did on the last 11 holes.
TIger lost a tad bit of momentum after missing that birdie on the 16th, but closed it out nicely with that birdie on the 18th. Nice to see him in concention thats for sure.
Yeh, no doubt. Tiger of the past year (assuming he's passed his struggles which is a big assumption) would have choked after that miss. But he kept his composure, and his shot (and putt) on 18 were beautiful.
he also finished tied in 2nd amongst amateurs
So he missd the cut. Dude played in the Masters, the freakin' MASTERS! With a blog M!
He probably just wanted to free up his schedule to watch the hockey game tomorrow night.
