Wow. I dont think I ever was abouve .20 BAC.
should work on that............rookie!!!
Step it up. I enjoy watching mosquitoes fall off me with alcohol poisoning in the summer.
Thank you !!
Thank you !!
so how does Hoke's 3 strike rule kick in?
(edit: my bad thought it was KELVIN grady)
Driving with a .24? I got a PI once with a .256 (allegedly) and I was struggling to walk...as well as not knowing where I was at the time or where I was going. Most likely he will take a plea deal/diversion agreement and won't serve any jail time, but hopefully he learns from this at least.
Unfortunately it is unlikely he will learn much from this incident, though you hope he would. .256 is extremely high, and indicative of someone who routinely drinks alot. To drive at all with that BAL you have to be a habitual drinker with a high tolerance. I have lived with this situation and it will likely get worse before it gets better. The hope you cling to is that they don't hurt themselves or, more importantly, kill ot hurt someone else.

.08 really is just a beer per hour! I got popped after trying to sleep off my buzz after being at a friends house at .18. From one drinker to who will listen, that isn't a lot of alcohol! I know many friends that drive home after three beers or so! I'm not saying it's right, but.....
Promote drunk driving idiot... you slept yours off for bit and still hit .18. I'm guessing he did not lay down before he decided to drive away too.
Stupid pass interference.
"not knowing where I was at the time or where I was going."
He was coached by Gerg and most likely played DB.
Grady currently plays for the Indoor Football League's Chicago Slaughter.Huh. I had no idea anyone still payed attention to the Indoor Football League.
though that's about to change considering where the nfl is heading...
I was afraid someone would say that.
The first time can happen to anyone and is a wake up call. The second time indicates a problem. If you can drive a car at .024, you have a major problem. Staying conscious at .024 is a lot like football; you really have to practice a lot. Either Grady is the most statiscially unlucky guy in the world, or he needs serious help. I fear the latter.
its only a typo but you might want to take the 0 out of that number... .024 is well below the legal limmit of .08...
an "m" out of limmit.
Sorry, I'm a dick.
for Michigan and DUIs
... your username
It's RRs fault
might want to add the "/s" to that post
I'd neg him if he did. /s ruins good jokes.
Does anyone remember what his BAC was for his first dui? It was something ridiculously high like that too. The only reason I know that is that he became a bar for drunkeness for a while.
EDIT: Found it myself. .281
Clearly in pursuit of the right answer to the question, "is Mickey Mouse a cat or a dog?".
This is not a "new" DUI. It happened back in November.
"The Grand Rapids Press reports that Grady's blood alcohol level was more than three times the legal limit of 0.08 at the time of his November arrest in nearby Grandville."
I remember reading about it then.
I hope Kevin gets some help.
His first one was before RR's first year.
Kevin has a problem. I hope he gets help. Maybe having to run the stadium steps at 5AM will set him straight.

Not Kelvin. Hoke has no jurisdiction over Kevin Grady's drinking problem. He could still bring the hell if Kelvin was partying like Cabrera.
I hope he gets help. Football should be his second priority right now.

Some was wasted on his part but I feel he was a major product of the coaching change. He may have been a very different player under Carr. But than again who knows. Minor was riding his tail going into his 2nd year.

Michael Floyd says Hello.
the Denali?
I do have sympathy for him, since it's pretty clear he's got serious alcohol abuse issues.
However, it's worth noting that he was driving a pretty expensive car when he got pulled over the first time. At that time, a 2007 Yukon Denali was blue booking at around $40-50K, plus he paid a $5,000 cash bond. How many college students are driving around in $40,000 SUVs, or have $5,000 laying around? Something to keep in mind when people are encouraging the NCAA to start investigating players' rides.
There are more college students from East Grand Rapids driving $40,000 SUVs around than you'd think.
I don't get it,especially after your first one. Calling a cab isn't that hard...
He was pretty much unrepentant after his 1st, violating his probation in almost every possible way. I'm more concerned for the other people on the road than Grady.
