Spring Game Parking

Submitted by rastafari on

I have tried Pioneer with no answers. Does anyone know what the cost is for cars and RVs at Pioneer? We have 6 cars and an RV headed to the Spring Game.

Last year they allowed for parking of cars (not sure about RVS) at the Crisler parking lot for free. An awesome tailgating experience for a student like me who doesn't normally get to experience a true tailgate.

^ Either way it still wasnt cheap for Pioneer, and if the weather cooperates the Golf Course could be an option but if it rains/snows/random michigan weather, they wont be open.

On gamedays they start charging $10, while most everyone else is at $20.  Closer to gametime, they raise to $15 for the last EZ-out row.  It's maybe six blocks to the stadium, but I consider the walk part of the gameday atmosphere.  They also have one portable john for us beer guzzlers.

There is a church on Scio Church road that has $5 gameday parking and most times the church is open so you can use there bathroom. We parked there for the msu game and they even gave us a free bottle of water. Not a bad walk to the stadium you just cut thru the woods and you end up at the back of pioneer.

as I recall. I parked in the Red Lot along South State and did not pay. It made for a good spot, because I got there quite early and walked uptown for a Blimpie Burger and to visit Underground Printing. BOX was partying like it was a regular game day.

Are they ever not?

Has anyone heard if there will be a locker room tour again this year. I know they're having the alumni game again this year, but I can't seem to find any info regarding a locker room tour. Thanks in advance!!
