holy crap, penn state-wisconsin is an UGLY game

seriously, that's just ridiculous.  1:42 to go in the GAME and psu leads 35-30.  In the SECOND half!

psu currently shooting 34% and wisco at 29%.  ouch.

I flipped over to the BYU game, saw Fredette get 50, then flipped on PSU-Wisc and it is 35-33 with less than 1 min to go.  Wiscy is the epitome of ugly tourney Bball.

We were so close to playing Northwestern tomorrow, but instead we have to play the #1 team in the country.  Meanwhile, Sparty gets to play PSU.

So is there really no chance we don't get in? Like really?

At least one of PSU/MSU has to lose tomorrow along with us. And we swept them both.

But still...I thought it was a done deal and now I'm not positive.

Can't imagine we're not in. Sparty may have jumped us with a second nice win, but considering we swept both teams, there is little chance that we get kicked out in favor of Penn State or MSU.

As of 5:30 ET, here's the latest projection from our Bracketologist (Joe Lunardi). And Michigan fans, in case you're panicking right now, the Wolverines do not appear on this page because Joe Lunardi feels they are safely in the field.

If Lunardi's ordering is correct, soon there will be a lack of teams that can catch us no matter what. (We're already near that, if not already there.)

at this point is if we lost to the Illini, then PSU went on to beat MSU. That MIGHT have had PSU and MSU take the last two spots (OSU, WISKY, PURDUE, ILLINI, MSU, PSU). However, we beat Illinois, so if PSU does somehow manage to beat the Spartans tomorrow, the Big Ten Field would look like OSU, WISKI, PURDUE, MICH, MSU, PSU/ILLINI). The Illini will drop before we do if PSU wins at MSU tomorrow. Our record is better and we've now split the season.
