I'm wondering if the Pistons fanbase on the Board agrees with his assessment.  He starts talking about the Pistons at the 50:11 mark.

Joe House responds, "Pistons stink...."

Personally, I find this upsetting as the Bad Boys are my favorite all-time NBA team but don't follow the team now.

Here's piece on Darko Milicic, the guy the Pistons chose over Anthony, Bosh, and Wade back in '03:

Bonus SE Michigan basketball note: Oakland came from 20 down in the second half last night to beat Clemson.

Pretty self explainatory title. Personally, I would be open to trading either if the right offer came up. I really like Drummond but he's not showing a ton of progress this season, and looks like he may top out as a Tyson Chandler type player. Blowing up the team would definitely suck, but I'm a believer that it's better to tank and play young players rather than just sticking around the 8 seed. Glad the front office is at least entertaining offers.

ESPN projects the Pistons to finish one game better than last year, with a chance to have homecourt advantage in the first round of the playoffs. Their reasoning for only a one game improvement is the return of the same starting lineup. I personally think the bench is markedly improved and that coupled with a more experienced roster will lead to a 3-5 game improvement.

I know football season is approaching and our attention has mostly turned to the team (and rightfully so), but I find it so encouraging to see both Michigan football and the Pistons on the up and up. Anyways, just my two cents.

Probably everybody who is still interested in the NBA listens to Zach Lowe's podcasts, but for those who don't here is a great interview with Stan Van Gundy.

Key issues that SVG discusses:

1) Insight into the non-signing of Greg Monroe

2) Defensive switching on pick and rolls

3) Orlando vs. Detroit for attracting free agents

4) "Form a fucking wall!"

4a) "trying to be less controversial. . ."

I don't know much about him except that he had a quick trigger when it came to trades with New Orleans and that he put together the Stojakovic/West/Chandler frontline, alongside Chris Paul?

Any thoughts (besides who cares about the NBA/Pistons/fire Dumars/Trey Burke/KCP)?

Looks like 25 years after the 1st of 2 championships, the Bad Boys are going to get the 30 for 30 documentary treatment which is set to air April 17th @ 8PM and is two hours long.

I myself am to young too remember the team but my dad still has numerous copies of the front pages of all the newspapers laying around somewhere.

OT - Pistons considering Isiah Thomas to replace Joe Dumars

The New York Daily News reports that the Pistons are considering replacing Joe Dumars with Isiah Thomas. Sounds like Gores is well on his way to creating another disaster.

I may not agree with some of Joe Dumars decisions recently, although we don't really know they are his decisions, but the man did a lot for the franchise and having him hanging since the firing of Cheeks and now the leaking of this is embarrassing.
