Compliance Department is on the ball

I found this website(http://he16man.spreadshirt.com/) through a facebook ad tonight.  Based on the whole mgoshirt inventory purge of a couple weeks ago, I narced on this site to the Compliance Department with a cc to Judy Van Horn.  Six minutes later (8:36 p.m. EDT), I got a personal reply from JVH.

I know, "cool story, brah." Sorry. I was just impressed with the speed and the personal touch.  The only people who get responses that quick from me are old guys in black robes who hold my career in their hands.

Nestled on top of the heap, Denard sleeps soundly tonight, assured that come Saturday afternoon he will dazzle the national audience with another 500+ DenYard performance.

Note that Pryor is footnoted for his six TD's in a Tressel production of "Lets Run Up the Score on a Helpless MAC Team So That OSU Gets Some Style Points and Pryor can Pad Some Stats".

Incredible that Denard gets no love for his 12 minutes of work and 225+ QB rating performance.

Check out the below link to ESPN.com's Heisman watch:

FYI - a quick review of the current stats show Denard atop the leaderboard in rushing yards and also in the Top 10-15 for passer rating.  And if they combined his rushing and passing TDs, he would be in the Top 5 for total scoring as well.

[EDIT:  Its pretty amazing how a seemingly minor reply about not liking the nickname "Shoelaces" can quickly get out of hand.  You'd think I had just insulted Denard's mother or something.  Yes, its an original nickname.  No, I don't like it.  But who cares?!  Its just my stupid opinion about a nickname!  FWIW - I think Denard's a beast and I can't wait to watch him play on Saturdays.  He's quickly becoming one of my all-time favorite Wolverines and, coming from a guy that's lived and breathed Michigan football since birth, that's a pretty big thing.]

[EDIT 2:  It's pretty sad that I'm sitting here at my desk worrying that people now think I do not like Denard and am not "all in for Michigan" just because I don't like his nickname.  I better call a therapist!]

I'm posting this because:

* It's the first time I've seen Denard referrred to as the "Michigan Magician."

* I found it interesting that the top three in the list all have some sort of historical connection to Rich Rodriguez.  Interesting twist of fate...
