Happy Monday everybody! I feel like this is worse than a typical Monday coming off opening weekend of the tournament (simply judging by Twitter). A quick update: nobody has a perfect bracket; things are still tight at the top, but it's still early; not a lot of parity when it came to picking a champion.

The following are teams picked to win and the percentage of the total:

Michigan(177) - 17.42%

UNC(171) - 16.83%

UCLA(121) - 11.91%

Villanova(115) - 11.32%

Gonzaga(110) - 10.83%

Duke(101) - 9.94%

Arizona(84) - 8.27%

Kansas(80) - 7.87%

Kentucky(37) - 3.64%

Louisville(8),Oregon(2), Baylor(1), WVU(2), FSU(2), UVA(3), Notre Dame(1), Wichita St(1) < 1%

So that's it. Only 17 teams chosen from the vast # of entries submitted. Aside from the Michigan bias, UNC is the overwhelming favorite. I'm sure there is some pickers remorse over that after the weekend.

There are a whopping 1016 entries this year! Up almost 300 from last year. And don't forget we do have prizes at stake this year. I thought it was a pretty good first weekend. Two prevailing topics by media and coaches: seeding and the refs. Both awful.

This has been brought up in the past by a couple Mods, but is there a possibility of giving out points for finishing in 1st-3rd place?

Also, here are a few ways to watch games (play-in games begin tonight):

- On TV: CBS, TruTV, TNT, & TBS will be airing all the games

- Online: http://www.ncaa.com/march-madness-live/watch ; must use TV service provider credentials

- On the NCAA March Madenss Apps, click on links below for your OS (also must use TV service provider credentials):

Android --> https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ncaa.mmlive.app&hl=en

iOS --> https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/ncaa-march-madness-live/id423246594?

Windows 10 --> https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/store/p/ncaa-march-madness-live/9wzdncrfjcmh

Unfortunately it's no longer free (I think it used to be). Of course free streams pop up right before game time. If anybody knows of other viewing avenues, please let us know. Thankfully I have awesome in-laws that let me use their credentials for this type of thing.

We had over 700 entries(!) last year with Wolverheel taking the top spot with 1350 points and correctly picking Villanova to win the 'ship. My initial gut feeling when filling out my bracket this year is UCLA.

Brackets lock at 12:15 PM on Thursday with the tip of ND vs Princeton. Good luck everyone!

If you were a part of the group last year, all you have to do is create an entry and choose to rejoin the group.

The Selection Show begins after Michigan wins the B1G Tournament. Once the brackets are revealed you will be able to make your picks.

Congratulations to Wolverheel on winning last year with a whopping 1350 points! Harbaugh2016 took the runner-up position with 1300 points and Big-Ass-Ham took 3rd with 1260 points. All three correctly picked Villanova to win the NCG.

Maybe this can be used as an open thread for the Selection Show as well? Maybe? I'm expecting no worse than a 7 seed for Michigan.

So the 2014-15 NCAA basketball season came to an end last night (mercifully). Watercooler talks may still be going on about last night's game or what your favorite team has to look forward to next year. Also, people are collecting on their bracket pool money in offices and households as well. Who won money out there? My family doesn't play for money. The winner of our group gets to choose where we go out for dinner and we have to do a 'chore' for that person. My wife won this year.....I'm in trouble.

There was no money put into the ESPN Tournament Challenge, but bragging rights are also very important.

Congratualtions to owner knighthockey10 with his entry 'goblue 10' for winning this year's group challenge! He tallied an amazing 1540 points. He beat out runner-up darnelljporter who scored 1520 points. dmtatum_55 would have won the challenge if Wisconsin had been able to pull it off, but instead finished in 13th.

And the person in last place....housmanlyndsey...finished with 300 points. Better luck next year.

Thank you to everyone who participated. We had 643 entries this year compared to only 440 in 2014. This was not as volatile as last year, since last year's winning entry (kirby0013) only had 990 points!

Enjoy the offseason! And as always, GO BLUE!

Just a little table. Kind of interesting. Lots of entries this year. Obviously there is an overwhelming favorite taking with over 54% of people picking UK to take the title. This lead to only a handfull of teams picked to win it all.

Now that we've had a couple hours to calm down and digest what has happened, it is FINALLY that time to get all your brackets filled out! Good luck to everyone!

I just got done listening to every single ESPN analyst pick Sparty to win the tournament. Apparently, beating Michigan for the B1G tourny title puts them back on that horse. <sigh> I'm sure no one here is going to make that mistake.
