Our First Hello Post for 2012 - Timeline and Prediction

This maybe premature - but I'm pumped about the 2012 recruiting class.

I was wondering who the community thinks will be our first 2012 commit and when will it be coming.

My guess is that it will be an Ohio kid (Wormley) sometime in this next month or so - considering that tOSU already has two other top DEs in the class committed

Thoughts?

You may remember me from such content as "Denardapalooza" (link here) after last year's Notre Dame game. I'm no Monumental, but I do what I can.

Anyway, there's been a definite lack of awesome Michigan/Hoke-related desktops recently, so here's my effort. I'm also willing to make adjustments if anybody has a specific request, and I'll just add the new creations to this same thread.

Note: I'm leaving the image big for high-quality downloading.

Quick Jordan Diamond Update

Quick Jordan Diamond Update

I just got off the phone with super 2012 OL Jordan Diamond. Jordan was recently offered by Ohio State, and as you know is starting to collect a lot of offers.

He'll be visiting Wisconsin this weekend (2/11),  Michigan next weekend (2/18), and Ohio State the weekend after that.

Jordan sounds like he wants to stay in the midwest, and he got the chance to meet Coach Hoke a few weeks ago. He really likes him too. When I asked him about Ohio State he didn't sound really excited either. This is a long way to go but Michigan can make a big impression on him this weekend.

Just came across this video, and I haven't seen it posted yet. Although a bit fluffy, I still enjoy hearing what guys like James Hall and Jerry Hanlon think about the hire.

Coach Coming To Columbus One More Time

Coach Coming To Columbus One More Time

According to Flight Tracker, Coach is coming from his visit with Jake Fisher and making a stop in Columbus. http://flightaware.com/live/flight/N401WS Do not know if it is to talk with current commits Hietzman and Carter or if there are any last minute contacts to be made here. Hoke's schedule of cities and plane trips in the past two weeks has been remarkable. He and the staff have through Sunday to make their final push to contact and secure this class.
