Now a 2x NCAA All-American! Way to go, Adam Coon. #Cooooooonnnnnn #WrestleNYC #GoBlue

Now an NCAA All-American! Congrats @AlecPantaleo! #WrestleNYC #GoBlue

A couple more wrestlers (Youtsey, Murphy, and Abounader) are still alive in the wrestleback part of the bracket.

http://espn.go.com/mens-college-basketball/story/_/id/9121576/michigan-… Trey Burke, Shane Larkin from Miami FL, Doug McDermott from Creighton, Ben Mclemore from Kansas, Oladipo, Kelly Olynyk from Gonzaga, Mason Plumlee, Cody Zeller, Deshaun Thomas, and Otto Porter from Georgetown. Nice B1G representation. One thing. The article states that the wooden award winner will be announced Saturday afternoon, before the final four. Will that be a distraction at all to Burke and the team?

Burke becomes Michigan's first national player of the year since Cazzie Russell was named NCAA Player of the Year in 1966.

The sophomore was also named to SI's five-man All-America team, joining Oklahoma State's Marcus Smart, Creighton's Doug McDermott, Gonzaga's Kelly Olynyk and Indiana's Cody Zeller.

Phil Steele has posted the selections for his pre-season All American teams on his site today. He has Molk at 2nd team Center and Martin at 2nd team DL, but no mention of Denard.

Side note: he has OSU at #15 in his pre-season countdown on his site as well with a PDF file of the 2 page coverage that will be available in his 2011 preview which should be in stores next week.
