ED-Seth: Welcome to our Bar Finder Sticky. The user community has kept this going since 2009 to help MGoBloggers find UM-friendly sites for their suds consumption.

We also got a big boost in curation in 2016 from our sponsors, the...

THE ORIGINAL POST:

A couple weeks ago, I put together a google map with all of the Michigan bars I'm aware of (and also everything from the spreadsheet that bouje has been maintaining.) The map is here.

Hopefully this will prevent the "where's the Michigan bar in Pittsburgh/Fresno/Topeka/wherever" threads that pop up every week, but if your favorite gameday hangout isn't on here, put it in the thread and let me know.  I'll do my best to keep the map up to date.

I understand if you are hurt and can't play, but Ed Oliver obviously isn't hurt, and he looked like an idiot last night.

Hi all! Rutgers gained the most yards of any Michigan opponent in the 2018 season. Rutgers! To put that in context, Rutgers gained 82% of the total yards MSU gained against Michigan in a single play. That single play was the longest play from scrimmage (80 yards) for Rutgers since they joined the Big Ten in 2014.

Herbstreit strongly favors Michigan over Ohio State in a week and a half.

Of course that's what we all want. I think given the last three years, Michigan will leave nothing to chance, and will crush OSU. And yet, with the BPONE, I'll believe it when I see it.

In Matt Miller's most recent draft board, Miller excludes Haskins claiming that his sources have indicated that the sophomore QB will return for the 2019 season.

There has been a lot of talk about the CFP rankings recently with Michigan's chances for a playoff berth hinging on how the committee ranks teams. Joel Klatt has had several interviews where he talks about how ACC and SEC teams are being overrated to try to bolster the resumes of Alabama and Clemson to ensure that they get into the playoff regardless of whether the lose a game. He then goes on to compare their CFP rankings to FPI as a way of showing how overrated these teams are. This was a misstep on his part in my opinion as he is comparing apples to oranges.

You can delete if necessary, but thought it couldn’t hurt to ask. My little brother is a huge Michigan fan (as am I) and I had promised him tickets, but continued broke university life. This was supposed to be his birthday present, so I’d hate to let him down.

If anyone has a few extra tickets, I would greatly appreciate it and could trade you a Desmond Howard signed mimi-helmet in return

Thanks guys and Go Blue!

Advice needed: Watching The Game overseas

Advice needed: Watching The Game overseas

Submitted by TreyBurkeHeroMode on November 15th, 2018 at 11:26 AM

Found out I'm going to be out of the country -- in Ireland, specifically -- during The Game. I haven't had to familiarize myself with international streaming/broadcast before, as when I was living overseas in the early 1990s such things really didn't exist. Any advice or suggestions on how best to watch the game that don't involve finding a public place with satellite TV?

I see from their FAQ that Fox Sports Go offers "limited FOX Sports programming" overseas. Anyone know firsthand if that includes CFB?

Thanks in advance for info and/or suggestions.
