Nice piece written by Sam Webb on how Ed Warinner can take failed D line players, and three star O linemen, and turn them into NFL starters. Everyone can agree our biggest weakness is our Oline and this article should give opptimism to even Bluey.

First post to mgoblog 3.0 from Mobile so I hope the link works, if not maybe someone can Embed it for me in the comments.

Anyone have any idea what could be the problem?

Night games in the Harbaugh era-

  • 9/3/2015 at Utah, L 17-24
  • 10/31/2015 at Minnesota, W 29-26
  • 10/8/2016 at Rutgers, W 78-0
  • 11/12/2016 at Iowa, L 13-14
  • Orange Bowl v. #10 Florida State, L 32-33
  • 10/7/2017 vs Michigan State, L 10-14
  • 10/21/2017 at #2 Penn State, L 13-42
  • 11/4/2017 vs Minnesota, W 33-10

We are 3-5 and dangerously close to being 2-6 had the epic goal line stand not happened at Minnesota in 2015.

Don Brown is a Dude

We already know this but it is still nice to be reminded sometimes...

Some really cool stats highlighting just how dominant Don Brown has been as a DC over the past 3 years!

Wisconsin's Jonathan Taylor is ranked #1, though in the article they rightfully point out Wisconsin has a great offensive line. Ohio St has 2 RBs in the list. But again, I think their offensive line has to be given credit, not just the RBs running ability. (That Ohio St offensive line was essentially built by Ed Warinner.)
