Charles Woodson's emphasis on OSU game statement revisited

"You know what, to be quite honest, I really feel like in recent years there hasn't been the emphasis I'm used to being put on that game," Woodson said Saturday at The ChadTough Foundation's gala in Ann Arbor. "Every game has been put on the same level as that game. That's not the way we were brought up. Not the way we were raised around here.

"We had no shame in saying (we were going to beat Ohio State). And every time I watch our teams in recent years, it's 'oh, it's another game.' It's not."

Obviously, every recruit dreams of getting to the NFL.

While decisions on where to attend school are based on many things, a school's (and coaching staff's) track record of putting guys in the League typically is a major consideration.

I thought it would be interesting to take a quick look at current guys in the NFL from each school in the Big Ten East...

Ohio State -  40
Penn State -  33
Michigan - 31
Michigan State - 19
Rutgers - 15
Maryland - 13

Per Sam: Battle for Dax Hill may not be over

Per Sam Webb last night on TMI and again today on the recruiting roundup, the race for Dax Hill MAY not be over. Sam cautions fans to stop with the accusations of extra benefits, one because it’s indecent, and two because of self-interest (so you’re saying there’s a chance?). So while we are all collectively upset about what went down, all hope is not lost. Sam also mentioned Aubrey Solomon as a precedent. It’s not necessarily the exact same situation, but there are definitely parallels. Take it FWIW.

4* WR Cornelius Johnson Announcing Dec. 19

4* WR Cornelius Johnson Announcing Dec. 19

Cornelius Johnson is a 6-foot-3 four-star WR from Connecticut - the No. 39 WR and No. 256 overall. He said on Twitter he's announcing Dec. 19 from a final five of Michigan, Alabama, Notre Dame, Penn State and Stanford. Nobody seems to think Bama is legit.

His crystal ballz were trending Stanford, but in recent days, Stanford has started looking at other WR options, so Sam Webb says they're probably out. Looks like a Michigan-Penn State battle, and Sam just said it's looking more promising for us by the day. Would be a nice Christmas gift.
