When I read the tweet I was expecting it to be Donovan Peoples Jones or Nico Collins. The article states DPJ and Black are continuing their impressive ascent but its second year Walk on Jake McCurry that's the one turning heads in practice

And to back it up even former LB Mike McCray tweeted "Knew who they was talking about before I read it. Jake is a problem." https://twitter.com/BigPlayMcCray_9/status/1007363572412841985

A Review of 2013-2018 OL Recruiting

I was sleepless and bored, so I decided to go back and review our OL recruiting over the past few years.  The MGOExperts are well versed in this and nothing of great surprise.  But, for me, it helped put into perspective the multi-year struggles we've had and why there should be real hope going forward.   I posted because I thought it might do the same for others.

As I often do, I put together a list of visitors for this coming weekend. The list also encompasses the camps coming up early next week, but the moral of the story is: there are a lot of good prospects setting foot on campus over the next several days.

That list includes 5-star RB/ATH Quavaris Crouch, top-100 safety Lewis Cine, and some good 2020 quarterbacks.

110 Fall Practice Spots

110 Fall Practice Spots

In re-reading an article on JH opening up all 110 practice spots for fall it occurs to me that a scholarship athlete would have to have 26 walk-on players pass them to be in danger of loosing their practice spot.

Can you think of that many guys currently on scholarship who, outside of medical reasons, have developed that little since they were awarded a scholarship to begin with?

If you find it distasteful to use names in your speculation, feel free to just name a position where we may have way too many good alternatives for a specific athlete to pass.
