3:00 EST, CBS.

Game in Philly again. Army set to sing last for the 3rd straight year. West Point will be rocking some beautifully designed uniforms honoring my own division, The Big Red One. With tribute to the division that finally broke the German lines during WWI at the Battle of Cantigny.

Danger Forward.

Football visitors this weekend

Football visitors this weekend

Michigan has several official visitors in town this weekend. The coaching staff has made it a practice the past couple years to have their more local commits take officials after the season in December, so they can have a more personal experience. Game weekends can be hectic and they don't get much attention.

Michigan also has Tennessee commit Chris Akporoghene (an offensive tackle!!!) in town.

Here's the full list (LINK).

Hugh Freeze has been hired by Liberty University to be their head football coach. He replaces Turner Gill, who retired.

Here's a fun twist: Liberty University's Athletic Director is none other than Ian McCaw, former Baylor University Athletic Director who resigned amid the sexual abuse scandal.

New 2020 QB Offer

New 2020 QB Offer

After losing the Georgia kid to Tennessee (?!?) it looks like our 2020 QB board is opening up. This kid is a three star but he just released his Junior highlights (linked below) and I think he will rise quickly. Reminds me of McCaffrey, though this kid is already up to 210 so will be more physically ready.

Peach Bowl ticket question

Peach Bowl ticket question

Submitted by Marvin on December 6th, 2018 at 4:26 PM

Going to the game with my son and was looking at two options for tickets: mgoblue and stubhub. If you buy through the University site it looks like tickets are $160 each and you don't even see where your seats are (other than the southwest corner). Based on the chart that's linked to the site it seems like they could be anywhere -- from really good to nosebleed. So my question: has anyone else gone through the mgoblue site? Am I correct in assuming that the seats you get are simply assigned based on when you've ordered, how many have been sold etc? Seems like a weird way to do it.

OT: what blogs you reading, what shows you watching, what games you playing?

With a lull in football and basketball -- not to mention work -- its time to ask: please give me ideas for how to pass the boredom. Er, I mean, what are you reading, playing, etc.

Any good blogs? TTB is always good. The athletic. Anyone got good politics blog? (Besides infowars).

Games? I think I wanna play Oregon trail online at work one day, just because that seems silly and stupid, but fun. Any other old games you'd suggest?

Also, if anyone knows a good actuarial blog, I've been needing one for a while. (Random, I know.)
