Experiencing the Big House

Experiencing the Big House

Submitted by MichFan1997 on May 15th, 2012 at 7:47 PM

Have you ever been so overwhelmed by experiencing the Big House that it has got the best of your emotions? For the home opener in 2010, my and one of my friends took her mom to her first ever Michigan game. It was her mom's birthday and everything. Her mom cried the first time she saw the team run out onto the field because she never thought she'd ever see that live.

So my question to you guys is, do you have any similar stories? Have you ever been overtaken by your emotions from experiencing the Big House live?

I know most of you are just waiting to click on this link and then ask the mods to delete it, but relax, this is real information... thanks to Touchdowns no flags for grabbing the picture last night...

Last night was the Michigan Coaches Tour in Chicago, they had lots of postcards/fliers made by the athletic department/alumni association. One in particular was a flier for the Michigan opener vs. Alabama. It said "History in the making... be part of it" and depicted what certainly appears to be denard in the UTL/Michigan State style jerseys, and wearing the #1.

Mods or someone embed the image below for me please as I don't know how to do it from my Mac.

Not much of a twitter user but here it is: http://pic.twitter.com/zJopqkpJ

Assume that someone at least approved this? I would suspect it could signal something coming down the line...

I love the Rose Bowl, but I am sorry, there is zero reason the bowls should be part of the play-off system.  The B1G's slavish loyalty to the Rose Bowl is based on some antiquated notion that no longer exits.  There is no reason that the bowls can't continue on as they have while having a completely separate play-off run by the NCAA.

While I realize a majority of you will go "Duh", this is just another example of why this coaching staff is dominating on the recruiting trail.

This is one of our vaunted, committed recruits. I can imagine that the family feel, as well as the full court press an uncommitted guy will get.

Michigan Over/Under 9.5 regular season wins

Michigan Over/Under 9.5 regular season wins

Wow. Two forum posts in one day.

Its come to my attention that over the weekend 5Dimes has indeed released a regular season win total prop for Michigan. This includes just regular season games. Any hypothetical Big 10 CG and bowl game do not count.

Michigan O/U 9.5 wins

Over pays out +140 (bet $100, wint $140)

Under costs -180 to play (bet 180 to win 100)

Michigan has to go 10-2. Thats seem ambitious. Especially since its basically 10-1 after the opener. Sadly, I like the Under, but hope I am wrong.

Others of note: ND, O/U 8.5, Under is -230; Wisco, O/U 8.5, Over is -260; Ohio, O/U 8,5, Over is -230; and MSU O/U 8.5....Spartans have standard juice on both sides.

All 8.5, except MICH who is 9.5
