Let's hear your predictions for the ND game. Who wins and why? Who will be the players of the game on offense and defense?
I have UM winning 28-13. UM goes into halftime ahead 14-13 and then comes out in the second half with a dominating performance defensively. I think Frank Clark is going to have a very good game as I see ND LT Ronnie Stanley struggling with his speed all night. Clark ends the game with 2 sacks and 3 TFL. On offense, I'm going with Devin Funchess. I think the running game will struggle some (still looking better than 2013) but the Devin to Devin connection will continue its rise to the top QB/WR combo in the conference. Funchess ends with 10 receptions for 165 yards and 2 more TD's.
I did not see this posted. MGoBlue is going through the top 5 wins over ND and has video clips of the bottom 2. I was lucky enough to have listened to Bob Ufer and one of the clips is the 78 game with Bob almost crying at the end of the game, though it was not that close. I think he did cry when AC scored against Indiana on the last play of the game to break a 21-21 tie in 1979.
I wonder which one will be #1: The first UTL or the Catch?
PSA: If you have Directv and live in Indiana, check to make sure you still have NBC. Due to a dispute between the NBC provider and Directv, NBC is not available for viewing to some of us lucky fans who want to see the game on Saturday or watch shows on a network that hasn't been relevant since Friends.
Maybe I've been living with my head up my ass, but I had no idea about this until the TV ratings thread earlier today and I figured that it deserved its own thread.
The easiest way to get around this is to buy a cheap HD antenna and use it for Saturday. I found one pretty cheap on Amazon for only $10.
Good luck and may the corn be with you.

DameFan, buddy. Where are you? Give us one more expert prediction before this series ends. By the next time we play I predict you will no longer be wearing tank tops. Pure entertainment value. Love it.
I didn't see this posted anywhere on the board (and I've never been able to go back past the first page of topics): After checking my fantasy team I saw some news on Denard (I've picked him as Mr Irrelevant for the 2nd year) - he beat out Jordan Todman and is now listed as the backup to Toby Gerhart (the Jags annouced it yesterday).
One notable position: running back, where Denard Robinson – a second-year veteran – is the backup behindToby Gerhart. Robinson had been competing with Jordan Todman and rookie Storm Johnson for the backup role in training camp.
From what I've read the team is playing loud music to make it difficult for the offense. I hope it isn't songs that these guys like. Does anyone think it would be a good idea to actually have a loud and screaming crowd recording or recordings inside the field house? I bet they can crank it up in there. It probably sounds crazy but it would be the closest thing to the real thing. Being that we've struggled on the road because of the noise factor, I think the team needs to try all options. Maybe they are already doing this though.
Thought there was a thread created Monday implying we would hear something on the ND front on Tuesday... well today is Wednesday and per ESPN ACC/ND reporter none of the suspended 5 have appeared at practice. [Insert Allen Iverson quip here]
Kelly is on record saying that the players stauts can change in an instant once he hears from the administration but at this point even if they were all reinstated tomorrow they'd have 2 days of practice to immerse themselves into all things Notre Dame football. I also do think ND takes this kind of thing seriously and reinstating players Thursday or Friday - even if that is going to happen down the road - would be a horrible look from an optics standpoint.
So from this perch these players are not coming back before Saturday.
