Brady Hoke's Timeline: Inevitable Fate?

Brady Hoke's Timeline: Inevitable Fate?

With all the celebrations going on today (rightfully so - it's happening), what do you guys now think of Hoke's future? Mid-season termination is improbable for various reasons, but doesn't Halloween's greatest gift of all time perhaps change this forseeable outcome?

For the record, I love Hoke's enthusiasm and values when it comes to individual/team integrity. If I had it my way, I would simply relegate him to a positional coach. Say, OL and/or DL. Would much rather do without Funk.

In any event, how do you think the rest of this unravels and then culminates?

DB is gone and the future is full of possibilities. Let’s make sure everyone turns out tomorrow and shows support for the team. If you have unused tickets make sure someone gets them that is going to use them. If you don’t have tickets head on down to the game and find some. Go Blue!

This is the first time I've heard the President speak and I was actually stunned at his ability to answer everything as nearly perfect as you could.  He was honest, straight to the point, optimistic, cordial, and his answers on things such as the Michigan man requirement were fantastic.

Just because you are a good speaker doesnt mean you are necessarily good at your job but if his speaking skills are any reflection of the rest of his work this is one impressive person.  I don't think he could have done better even if he had all the press questions told to him beforehand.  A+ performance from this set of eyes.

at least having the courtesy to step down.  It's hard to say now whether this was a "forced" resignation or if he willingly offered his resignation, but if it was willingly, I do want to thank him for that courtesy.  This gives the school time to get the new AD in and, subequent to that,  time to find a coach who won't have just  a week or two to re-inforce the recruiting class.

Thanks, Dave...now get the hell out...just kidding.  I don't want to stomp on someone who is down.  This was the right thing to do.  Good luck to you.

Well, this is awfully bad:

The muggles that attend the University of Michigan should pick who the next AD is. Found out earlier this year that they're experts in it.

Let's hope the new AD can move things forward in a way that doesn't perpetuate these divisions within the University.

You seek a great fortune, you wolverines who are now in chains.

You will find a fortune, though it will not be the one you seek.

But first... first you must travel a long and difficult road, a road fraught with peril.  Mm-hmm.

You shall see thangs, wonderful to tell.

You shall see a... a noodle... in front of the big house, ha.

And, oh, so many startlements.

I cannot tell you how long this road shall be, but fear not the obstacles in your path, for fate has vouchsafed your reward.

Though the road may wind, yea, your hearts grow weary, still shall ye follow them, even unto your salvation.
