With the current schedule, 9 wins seems pretty reasonable. I will go with 10 and the over. I think that gets us in the playoffs if we could win the B1G Championship game on top of the regular season.
...days until Dan Dierdorf (OL 1967-1970) works in the booth alongside Jim Brandstatter on (hopefully) improving the Michigan Football radio experience, just like how the offensive line will work on improving win the field below, crushing the Irish in South Bend!
tough break, but at least he can still get his degree
This is another huge weekend for football recruiting. Not only did Michigan hold camps earlier this week, but they're expecting a bunch of official and unofficial visitors this weekend, including Lewis Cine, Wandale Robinson, Eric Gray, Zach Harrison, etc. Here's a link to the full list (LINK).
Sorry if already posted, but Berkley Edwards announced he will grad transfer to UM for his 6th year. He played at Minny and CMU. He's very fast. Could be useful at KR or even a little time at RB.
Some video highlights of Johnny Manziel in 2 pre-seaon games in Canada with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. Honestly, considering it's Canada, it's pre-season, and he hasn't played in almost 3 years, it looks pretty good. He's only 25. So does he have time to get back to the NFL? I think he does. Could it be next year?
15:09 video of his first game with Hamilton. A couple plays sparked some memories of how great he was to watch in college: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SuMI9KXFWt4
Westgate gambling odds have Michigan making it into the College Football Playoffs Final 4. Westgate claims it is the largest sports gambling book in the world. They have Georgia, a team many think have a real shot at the National Championship this year, at 5th, just outside the CFP Final 4. Most people don't know though, that Georgia lost 2/3's of it special teams, and 2 deep players, to graduation and the draft. That means they had many experienced players last year. There probably won't be 2 teams from the SEC in the playoffs this year. But, maybe 2 teams from the BIG 10? Maybe so.
I've been watching a lot of highlight tape lately because of the recent roll of commitments, and crystal balls that have been put in for our targets. And in reading and doing some digging, and watching the film of them all, I've come to the conclusion that harbaugh's recruiting speed heavily. I think that this is something other teams in the past have been lacking, but wow, all the kids recently being recruited are for the most part sub-4.8 including Ojabo, who in my opinion is a freak athlete and a monster in the making.
Enough of this bs about The Game at night. See the other thread for why that is an awful idea.
We should spend that time campaigning on a far better cause, which is (assuming it is able to remain UM and osu's final game of the season), moving The Game to the weekend BEFORE Thanksgiving.
