I predict a 12-6 conference record (losses - @Wisc, @MSU, @Ind, @ Iowa, @Ohio, MSU)

I hate even thinking MSU could sweep, but they're a lot more physical than us and not a team we match up with well.   That'll probably result in about a 6 seed in the tourney.

I hope I'm wrong and Michigan wins out.

Thoughts?

Summary

When I first saw Stanford on the schedule, I assumed this was going to be an easy win and look decent as far as quality wins go because they are in a power conference.  Well, I was only half right.  These teams numbers are very similar and Stanford has that quality win that Michigan is lacking.  One thing that will really pop out to you is that their starting five is all upperclassmen.  There is no doubt we are the more talented team, but they have the experience on their side.

Prediction

Michigan had a much needed week off to prepare for this game and get healthy.  Stanford is coming off a huge road win for them, but won't have as many days to prepare for Michigan.

First topic created, apologies if I'm not within the guidelines - but this is worth a listen.

Southern Illinois coach Barry Hinson gives a great post game recap of his teams loss against Murray State.  While I love the class and restraint that our coaching staff's show during pressers, it is sometimes entertaining to get good sound bites instead of the same ol same ol rabble rabble

"I've been telling my wife this for years, Size doesn't matter."

"there was a sniper in the gym, didn't you see.  We had guys falling down.  We had 2 guys snipered at half court"

"My wife, my wife can score more than two buckets on 11 shots because I know my wife will at least shot fake one time"
