My wife is, unfortunately, a Spartina. So, I will pay the mortgage, truck payment, insurance, and utility bills. If she wants anything else, she'll have to get it herself. I don't swipe my card for anything green, scarlet, grey, MSU or pOSU
What's to say we didn't reach to all of our fantasy candidates and they said no? College is a different animal than the pros. If it was easy and enticing, Tom Brady would be our QB coach, and Woodson would be coaching DB's AND WR's
Not quite like that. If Harbaugh can get anyone he wants but he's targeting Michigan's defensive coaches and best recruiters. It's beyond frustrating now
This is why Harbaugh wanted him to be promoted. He knew Moore didn't have the connections to fill vacancies with quality coaches. Harbaugh set him up for failure
My mom and step dad were watching a Michigan-Michigan State football game in 1988 or 89. I was 4 or 5. My step dad asked me who I wanted to win. I said "the guys with the cool helmets." They both said "Oh no." The reactions to my GO Blue throughout childhood from family made me happy. Woodson's 1 handed interception sealed it for me.
I come from a family of MSU, and OSU fans and have family who are alumni of almost every B1G school except Nebraska and Illinois.
I keep telling people, if Jim wanted to be in Ann Arbor, he would be. It doesn't seem like he cares about relationships outside of family. He certainly wasn't going to have to worry about money
What was Warde supposed to do? Michigan made their offer. Harbaugh made his. Michigan wasn't going to give immunity and Harbaugh was going to talk to NFL teams.
The way I see it is, Harbaugh wanted immunity from the NCAA investigations. UofM said ok, we want you locked in and committed. No more talking to the NFL. Harbaugh wouldn't commit to that. At the last minute UofM dropped the no NFL clause but it was too late.
If Harbaugh really wanted to be here, he would be and wouldn't have talked to other teams every year since arriving in Ann Arbor. His heart was never with Michigan. Michigan was a stop to build his resume
How do we know any of these stories are true? It doesn't seem like anybody reputable is reporting anything. All we're hearing from are people who seem to be throwing shit at the wall hoping something sticks
His early success was because of Brooks. Eli was basically coaching those teams.
Any other coach would be wildly successful with these assistants. The head man is the problem and Warde can't find anyone worth a tinkers damn to take over
We don't know that's the hold up. The "sources" said the contract was done, both parties agreed to it, and would be signed after the regular season. Then the "sources" said it would be signed after bowl season.
At this point, we have to quit reading into everything coming out. There's been too much smoke without any fires. JUB's, Webb's, and everyone else "sources" have been wrong about everything about the contract negotiations
I come here for Michigan sports info only. I don't care about former coaches, players, cheerleaders or janitors unless they have something to do with the Detroit sports teams
I've been saying this for a year. I was cautiously optimistic when Howard was hired. He did good with Beilein's recruits, but he can't seem to develop his own players for the college game.

I imagine that's exactly how the conversation went down
Would May's Mates be better?
I saw nothing about Scruggs
Nope
I don't celebrate anything that requires wearing green or red. Bah humbug
I wonder who the candidates are
He took "If you can't beat them, join them" to heart
When I looked into this option i found that I'd end up paying a few dollars more and getting less than I do now with cable and internet
I'll believe it in September if he's on the sideline

I'm a Michigan fan, a Lions fan, a Tigers fan, a Pistons fan and a Redwings fan. None of those teams are coached by Jim Harbaugh.
The Free Press is as late as my wife was 22 years ago

I hope everyone who left fails miserably

Is Moore handing out DC jobs like Oprah hands out cars?
He's already been fired by 1 Harbaugh
It's that 3rd base runner mentality
He's staying in the shadow on Groundhog Day
If Harbaugh wanted to be in Ann Arbor for life, he would be. His heart has always been in the NFL. He's chasing the his dream.
When a person does that, there's no stopping them

I'm feeling much too old to be this damn young
No and no

They gave you free kindling
Warde doesn't have the final say. He's the face but the president and the Board pull the strings. Paying a baseball coach 1 million is absurd to them
The DETROIT LIONS(in my best Forest Gump voice)
Are we going to ignore that the news was broke by a gambling site?
Schefter has run with false news a few times before and Underdog seems to be the source for everyone's confirmation
I agree with you. There's been too much BS coming out to believe anything right now
Rich Rod was a great coach at West Virginia.
Every stop after was a disaster. He should've stayed where he was loved and appreciated. Which is what Harbaugh will realize in a few years

The "He's been wrong more times than I've taken a shit and I'm a lactose intolerant dude who loves ice cream" comment has my laughing out loud at work

He'll finish on 3rd base
As a guard or as a center?
At this point, I'd take Stu Douglass and Zack Novak as coaches
He may he the best 3rd base runner but he hasn't earned 3rd baseman

USC has a defense?
The NCAA should vacate all wins for this past season, bowl ban for 5 years and give them the death penalty
Again?
It was discussed during the game. The explanation was laid out, and spelled out. Did you not believe them? Was it not good enough?
