A lot of money, but per Spotrac, Goff's 2024 cap hit is $32,300,064, or 12.65%. Not too bad.
They had an old article of Super Bowl QB Cap Percentages (archive.org link) showing the top 10 highest cap percentages to reach a Super Bowl. At the time the top 3 lost. The first winner was Tom Brady with Tampa at 12.61% (list has typo, was 2020 season, not 2021).
I checked for new info, and Mahomes has thrown things off, coming in as a winner with 17.16% and 16.84%, now #2 & #3.
Top SB QB Cap Percentages, Revised
1. P. Manning, 2009, Indy, SB44, 18.8%, L 2. Mahomes, 2022, KC, SB57, 17.16%, W 3. Mahomes, 2023, KC, SB58, 16.84%, W 4. Ryan, 2016, Atl, SB51, 15.3%, L 5. P. Manning, 2013, Den, SB48, 14.16%, L 6. Brady, 2020, TB, SB55, 12.61%, W 7. Brady, 2018, NE, SB53, 12.42%, W 8. P. Manning, 2015, Den, SB50, 12.21%, W 9. E. Manning, 2011, NYG, SB46, 11.71%, W 10. Brady, 2014, NE, SB49, 11.13%, W
What I'm wondering is can some other team besides KC with Mahomes & Andy Reid win a Super Bowl with a QB cap % greater than 12.61%. I'm skeptical. Some other team is going to have to show me.
The Red Wings have stayed in place only 3 times and never moved up.
The Pistons moved up 4 spots in 2003 (pick from Memphis) ... and selected Darko. 2021 was the only time they moved up with their own pick and drafted Cade. Stayed in place 3(?) times.
Maybe 6 goals didn't seem like that much, considering we came back from a 5-goal deficit the previous game. And it was a must-win game to get to the NCAAT. PSU G wasn't stopping much (6 sv). We scored on 73% of our SOG, so why not keep shooting?
There was a period of time when PASS took away half the Pistons and Red Wings games, and mom wouldn't get cable. When I got to U-M the house lounge TV had PASS, so I could watch more of those games. And also late-night Aussie Rules Football. But I wonder how another Detroit RSN survives in today's market.

It's great! To be! A Michigan Wolverine!
Going scoreless for something like 18min in the 1st half made for too big a hole to climb out of. But kudos to the team for battling.
Amaizing finish. Looks like the other guy ran out of gas just at the end.
Hail to the Victors! Beat IU!

Man, I was chuffed to see his name is Alfred, and he (presumably) has an English accent.
But then I realized the title does not say it all.

Still playing FTL: Faster Than Light. And I fire up Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri/Alien Crossfire now and again.

Couple typos: Thomas Bordelau, Jay Karenen
Fine. I prefer to win during the season.
He was an alternate captain a couple of seasons.
Hail to the Victors! Incredible 2nd Q. Was worried with the 5-goal deficit. But then I be like dang. 8 goals in a row including 2 in the 3rd.
Thanks for the #ProBlue update.
That is an exponential increase, methinks. It's not +9/+9 but x1.33/x1.5.
Ah, the ol' knee lift set shot.
Such a quaint expression, methinks. Now it's being finned and sawbucked to death.
