One of Michigan's top OL targets for the class of 2025, Avery Gach, will announce his college commitment at 2:15 p.m. central, 3:15 p.m. eastern today, Friday, May 3.

Michigan is one of Gach’s final four schools, along with Wisconsin, Ohio State and Michigan State. Other notable programs to have offered the top lineman include Auburn, Alabama, Georgia, Florida State and Texas A&M.247Sports ranks the 6-foot-5 lineman as a four-star recruit and as the No. 196 player in the class of 2025, No. 13 at his position and No. 2 recruit from the state of Michigan.

Hope he commits to the good guys! Hail!

8 crystal balls filed at 247, all predicting he comes to Ann Arbor, though none with more than 60% confidence. Includes one guy each covering OSU and MSU. So you gotta feel pretty good about this one.

Hmmm… how many Michigan OL have developed and been drafted recently?

Back to Back Joe Moore awards - and in the running for a third?

What experience does Michigan’s staff have with an OL?  Moore, Newsome, etc…

It does seem like the Maize & Blue would be a solid choice.

Gach to Michigan is a birthday present to Seth--a Jewish kid from his high school.

Feeling good about M here.

Completely off topic, and yes...I know we have some decent QB's here. But why haven't we kicked the tires on someone like Arch Manning?  There is no indication that he wants to leave TX but pitching the idea to a Michigan collective to get enough funds together to offer an amazing (backup QB) ....Not only that but could play his former team the 2nd game of the season. We might actually get a few WR's to commit here after that too. Just saying...it'd be interesting.

btw....avery gach is amazing and i hope we do get him. lol.

Because there are far more proven commodities out there that have actually done something to earn that money. Several sites saying they have the best QB room doesn’t make it true, nor does it make their backup QB worth a huge payday at a school like Michigan. If we’re not paying high schoolers, we’re gonna pay a guy with 5 passes to his name? Makes zero sense.

It's now official. It's not Kentucky but....

Four-Star Avery Gach from Birmingham Groves has picked the Wolverines! Go Blue!!

He smartly picked UM over OSU , MSU and Wisconsin. Seems like a great kid!
