Moore officially hired as HC

The live game open threads prove this correct.
January 26th, 2024 at 7:03 PM ^
Woohoo!!
January 26th, 2024 at 7:04 PM ^
Congrats Sherone!
January 26th, 2024 at 7:33 PM ^
And his brother Sherrone!
January 26th, 2024 at 7:39 PM ^
Now that he’s at the top of the program, I think the people need to know…
Is it sher-ON or sher-OWN?
January 26th, 2024 at 7:49 PM ^
Sher-OWNs the buckeyes
January 26th, 2024 at 8:10 PM ^
Wait, how is TV going to have TAKES about a first time coach in The Game if he’s in fact, not a first time coach? What will they even discuss in the first quarter?
January 26th, 2024 at 10:12 PM ^
I've always thought and heard it was the latter. But we all know how announcers can go years pronouncing a name wrong before it gets corrected...
January 26th, 2024 at 10:43 PM ^
I assumed the latter as well but I’ve heard the former used enough to make me question that
January 27th, 2024 at 9:43 AM ^
He is simply known by, J. Ira and Nicki Harris Family Head Coach of the National Champion Michigan Wolverines. But you can just call him Coach, to shorten it up.
January 26th, 2024 at 10:34 PM ^
Sherrrone is the new Rudddock
January 27th, 2024 at 1:34 AM ^
He's all of our Sherrrrrrona now. Not just mine.
January 26th, 2024 at 7:04 PM ^
I can't wait to tell my great grandchildren where I was when I heard about this news!
The first four-decade UM coach? It's possible!
January 26th, 2024 at 7:20 PM ^
I hope he wins forever. I never hope we have a multi-decade coach again.
January 26th, 2024 at 7:04 PM ^
Fuck yes
January 26th, 2024 at 7:04 PM ^
Great success!! - Borat — Timtebro
January 26th, 2024 at 7:14 PM ^
Very Nice!
January 26th, 2024 at 7:04 PM ^
No one more deserving!
January 26th, 2024 at 7:56 PM ^
How the fuck did I miss the opportunity to say “Moore deserving”
January 26th, 2024 at 7:04 PM ^
Well deserved.
January 26th, 2024 at 7:04 PM ^
Let’s fucking go!! May not agree with this choice but that doesn’t matter anymore! It’s his team now and we all hope he succeeds even better than Jim! Just please Michigan Admin and regents don’t make it harder for him..
January 26th, 2024 at 7:18 PM ^
Who would you have agreed with?
January 26th, 2024 at 7:27 PM ^
Freaking pumped!!! Now everyone at Michigan needs to get behind Coach Moore and give him everything he needs to be successful.
January 26th, 2024 at 8:57 PM ^
He won’t be better than Harbaugh, who set the bar as high as it can go and leaves as a Michigan legend. The fan base thought they were entitled to a great team before Harbaugh, and the expectations are even higher now. I’m sure he’ll get a grace period, but that will only last until the first game of the 2024 season. He now has a great job and the intense pressure that comes with it. Good luck to him.
January 27th, 2024 at 7:12 AM ^
I’ll give him till the Texas game. I honestly believe that he’s gonna be just fine. Stick with the principles that Harbaugh taught and add a more explosive offense. Who knows, we may be better in some ways.
January 27th, 2024 at 1:10 AM ^
My thoughts exactly. He's our dude, and he genuinely seems like a great guy. Let's roll Sherrone!
January 26th, 2024 at 7:04 PM ^
Congrats to Coach Moore! Go Blue!
January 26th, 2024 at 7:05 PM ^
I f'ing love it, man!
January 26th, 2024 at 10:44 PM ^
Well if it’s on Facebook, you know it’s a fact
January 26th, 2024 at 7:05 PM ^
Awesome!!!
Congrats Coach Moore!
I think (hope?) that means the vast majority of the players will stay.
January 26th, 2024 at 7:05 PM ^
Welcome, *Head* Coach Moore! It's great to be a Michigan Wolverine. Go Blue.
January 26th, 2024 at 7:06 PM ^
Weird that Adam Schefter broke the news -- and not Pete Thamel. Hmm 🤔
January 26th, 2024 at 8:57 PM ^
The major upside with the Sherrone hire is that he's going to be salty AF with the likes of Thamel and all the assholes in the big ten that tried to derail our NC season.
January 26th, 2024 at 7:07 PM ^
LETS FUCKING GOOOOOOOOO
January 26th, 2024 at 7:07 PM ^
I love the s*** out of this, man
January 26th, 2024 at 7:07 PM ^
Let’s get to work! Congrats Coach
January 26th, 2024 at 7:07 PM ^
Which base does Sherrone Moore start on?
January 26th, 2024 at 7:08 PM ^
1 no 2 no 3 sounds right!
January 26th, 2024 at 8:52 PM ^
He is a home base hire! YES!
January 26th, 2024 at 7:10 PM ^
Is 1-0 a base?
January 26th, 2024 at 7:11 PM ^
There are 10 types of people in this world; those who get binary, and those who don't...
January 26th, 2024 at 7:11 PM ^
Beat it. Butt hurt Chuck:
January 26th, 2024 at 7:11 PM ^
With the advent of NIL, the transfer portal, and most of the key coaches departing, I'd say Moore has been intentionally walked to 1st base.
January 26th, 2024 at 7:11 PM ^
Third, just like Day. The question is, will he think he hit a triple? Seems unlikely with what we've seen so far.
January 26th, 2024 at 7:20 PM ^
Moore helped build the current team, Day was a co-offensive coordinator for one year before the job fell in his lap and he got the fulltime job the next year.
January 26th, 2024 at 9:58 PM ^
Exactly, if Sherrone is on third base, he may not have hit a triple, but he did hit a single and then one of his teammates hit a single that allowed him to run to third. He got here through a combination of talent, hard work, and teamwork.
Or something like that. I don't really watch baseball so my terminology may be off here.
January 26th, 2024 at 8:27 PM ^
And that’s the important part of that quote everyone forgets. It wasn’t about being born on third.
January 27th, 2024 at 1:13 AM ^
I'd lean towards third except he has nearly lost his entire offense, and the NCAA is always up our ass. Solid 2nd base.
January 26th, 2024 at 7:11 PM ^
Difference is I don’t think Moore will be claiming he hit a triple.
