We need all of the outreach from our coach (and players as needed) to the students. Near the end of JB's run, nearly every game was a sell-out. As things turned ugly on the court, fans left and I don't really blame them. This wasn't a scrappy team, overmatched, but playing like a bunch of Kurt Rambis's. The meltdowns had as much to do with lack of focus and effort - and yes not getting Shannon and Love did hurt a lot, but not sure we were any better than NIT with them.
Juwan admitted during his closing interview (first 1-on-1 he had given in two years) how he could have been more accessible. I disagree with his comment about being "more politically correct" - it's a new world with NIL and getting out and socializing with the students and alumni/donors is part of the job. Even Dusty said 35% of his job was NIL-based. Juwan will always be a legend and hopefully gets back into the NBA. Will root for him always.
