We must chant " Wear a Headset!" at the games whenever we have the "failure to communicate" bungles.

Michigan favored to win vrs Rutger would be crazier given the quarterback situation on top everything else that is going on and our horrific road performances. Not trying to be a downer. I am way beyond being emotional. Just very comfortably numb and objective.
On the plus side we do play out of our behinds for night home games and PSU is very ordinary, so all is not lost.

Tomorrow is my kids' homecoming dance, so I'll probably be relegated to taking photos and to TV fandom, but 100% support all of you who go. Cheer loudly for our boys!

likely playing two Qbs and a mediocre kicking game to boot (bad pun). Is Minnesota THAT bad or am I missing something?
|6 days 14 hours ago||Just win baby!||
John U. gets right to his points very well as always, but...
UM was irrelevant and full of malaise in the years prior to Bo. The product was mediocre and there were always tickets to be had.
DB's blunders and insensitivity are accelerating the flight of the loyal ticket holders whose patience is being tested - but lack of big wins and bad losses are REALLY what is killing this program.

Big prayers and positive thoughts!!!

It's realy sad that of all of our "athletic talent", Funchess is the only proven guy who would start on these teams. Maybe Ryan. If we had a Qb who didn't throw behind him, or high (getting him killed) Funchess' numbers would be even more gaudy.
|1 week 1 day ago||Think how flawed the NFL draft is||
Half the first round guys totally tank. MANY all stars are from lower picks or schools that are not powers. This is after many "trained" draft eyes have seen them for about three years after high school.
So it is not unreasonable to conclude that assigning stars to 16 years old is not an exact science. I would argue they are wrong more often than right. Also last time I checked football is a team game played on high emotion. Stars don't measure work ethic,heart, brains, or most importantly ability to deal with conflict (spoiled 5 stars have a real tough time with this).
Give me a team of hard working late bloomers, kids who had to deal with hardships (including injuries), and played in a tough conference/state with good coaching fundamentals (sorry Detroit PSL doesn't qualify) and put them under a disciplinarian coach and you will frequently beat 5 star laden soft teams.
In conclusion 5 stars and 50 cents get you a cup of coffee.
Now If you have the real deal, once in a decade type talent, such as Charles Woodson, then I'm in on the hype - but I don't see that anywhere on this year's roster. Funchess may be the closest thing.

10 cans gets you a club level seat.
Just don't know whether to laugh or cry.....
|1 week 2 days ago||no college team, but maybe the NFL?||
Roger Goddell and Sgt. Schultz have been advising DB. Skywriting, seat cushions, you name it, coke promotion, videos on TMZ?
I know nothing !! ... Now Brady go get me those tickets before Col. Hogan exposes me to the social media!

This is as bad or worse than it was for App St or MIami,Oh. This is the freaking B1G opener, Brown Jug game - just wow.
As bad as the season has gone I fully expect UM tp win because, well, Minnesota is even worse.
If the unimaginable happens one may actually get a free ticket for one coke.
Anyone know what tickets are going for the Slippery Rock game? Who coaches them? I'm kidding!!

but the fab 5 were a lot more important to college basketball and more loved/hated than any other UM team for their brashness and style of basketball.
btw I should have said MOST who didn't care were probably younger - didn't mean to imply all, sorry. Now get off my lawn.
|2 weeks 1 day ago||+1000||
I think those who are negative on the importance of the Fab5 are under 25. Sort of like the future players of UM v Texas worrying about Lloyd's treatment of RichRod.

For some reason he has been a total prick in this whole saga. Unless he has some new info he wants to share, I agree with Jalen.
Would love to see Jalen, Jimmy, Ray, and especially Juwan Howard a part of the UM hoops scene.
|2 weeks 1 day ago||Well be in the same conferenceby then||
and the players of the return match are pooping in their pants while at preschool now,lol.
|2 weeks 1 day ago||But you don't have to buy a beer to get in...||
I used this "value scenario" since one is being forced to buy a dog and shirt which are obviously overly priced. I normally wouldn't buy a dog or shirt unless it was a good deal. If the dog and shirt was priced at $40 retail, I wouldn't say "wow a $2 ticket!".
I'd rather just get a ticket for $33 on Stubhub, BUT if your gonna give me a really good deal on a dog and shirt, I am willing to buy more things, so hence my logic that this deal for me is worth about $29 for a ticket. Anyway, it's a marketing deal that everyone looking for seats can evaluate with their own utility values. If you love dogs and shirts then it is even a better deal for you.
As you say, winning will change things PDQ. Also next year's home schedule has several big games, so I would expect fewer "deals".
|2 weeks 1 day ago||yes, shirt and dog are $26 "retail"||
probably worth more like half that, but still that makes a ticket for $29 for a B1G game at the Big House. I hope some who can't afford seat licenses and $75 tickets, take advantage of this; and those who have season tickets see will only see this as a short term solution to sell out games.
Personally, I think DB should do more things for current season ticket holders who are riding the storm out: Free tix to Slipery Rock, free bottled water, framed picture of Brady, something more as a good will marketing move.
