It can't be confirmed without an autopsy. The sadness of this news is slightly offset by his great stories mentioned.
|10 hours 47 min ago||Best wishes to your daughter and dad||
My elderly father just recovered from relatively minor surgery and stayed a few nights in an assisted living facilty that had a wing that specialized in dimentia patients. Wow! That was an eye opening experience.
|2 days 20 hours ago||Pulling for Kyle too||
Some team will take a chance on him in the late rounds given his physical tools and resume.
|2 days 20 hours ago||John U on WTKA this morning||
Basically said Manuel will ask Red " Do you want to coach another year?". If he says "yes" ,it is the end of the discussion period.
If he says "no" the next call is to Mel Pearson, who will very likely jump at the chance.
|2 days 20 hours ago||No game in Ann Arbor||
It seems like all the venues are set. Even though we sold 109,000 tickets, no soccer in the Big House this summer : (

Now I am totally bouncing off the walls waiting for tip off
No work is going to get done!
|4 days 9 hours ago||Yes. Red loves UM||
I really believe after listening to him for many years that he will do the right thing and has all his faculties to make that decision. This year was the tipping point for me but I think it would be disgraceful to preemptively fire Red.His love of UM will be greater than any ego he has.
|4 days 16 hours ago||I believe Red will retire now||
If we are having this conversation next year and he hasn't announced his retirement and we are cellar dwellers, I obviously will change my mind. I think the Blashill theory has credence and it wouldn't make sense to announce anything until after the Wings season is done.
Red has seriously thought about quitting before and has been talked into staying by the Administration.
|4 days 18 hours ago||I am fine with whatever Red wants||
He deserves to do whatever he wants, not what you want.
By the way he is not stupid or senile. He knows his performance has slipped and will likely retire on his own. I don't see a JoePa ego.
|4 days 19 hours ago||All three would be fine with me||
Red needs to go on his terms when he wants. Pearson is the obvious choice. Blashill would be excellent too.

NOT good results for either team's long term goals.
Being a 4 sport Detroit fan canbe just brutal....

Much more efficient <sarcasm>. I tell my current UM student , daughter, about registration and also programming with punch cards at NUBS and she looks at me like we didn't have plumbing or electricity. Actually life did not exist before iPhones....

|5 days 22 hours ago||Have you looked the UM off campus housing site?||
It's pretty good.
Not many prime places near the the medical campus are dog friendly. Most good places for this fall were leased out by last November. If you are willing to go south (between State and Packard) towards fringe Burns Park, there are houses available, that would meet your criteria. There are many campus buses that run from there to the medical center and are very reliable.
Subletting this summer (May 1 to Sept 1) is a total buyers market. You can get a cheap quality place and get your bearings in the meantime. Some landlords who haven't rented their places out for the fall will be willing to negotiate.
All that said if you really like a place, are premed, and it only costs $150 /month than your ideal budget - take it!

Kansas at the Michigan Theater was amazing. Steve Walsh doing handstands on his keyboards while playing, and then doing repeated handsprings... and screw whining Izzo.

then colon cancer is statistically the most likely killer for you in your middle ages and it is practically 100% curable with early detection via a colonoscopy.
Please do not put it off! Do by 40 if you have a family history and 45 if you don't. DONT WAIT FOR YOUR DOCTOR TO TELL YOU, especially if you don't have an annual physical, Be Proactive.
I've had two and the prep is not that bad and it is the worst part of the procedure. I am the biggest freaking medical wimp and it is not bad at all. Actually the anesthesia they gave me was awesome and I slept unbelievably well that night too.
Some of you guys drive me nuts here but I want to see all of you live as fathers, mothers, brothers, sisters for a long long time. Plus you want to tell your grandkids of the Harbaugh renaissance period.
|1 week 4 days ago||Michael Jordan drafted Kwame Brown #1||
Bad first round picks happen in all sports and there is usually some logic associated with the bad picks. Pistons had Rip and Tayshaun so the "obvious" draft choices were in positions of relatvely little need. 20/20 hindsight ..it was a bad pick of epic proportions due to Darko's attitude, not his athletic ability and potential.
The Pistons had a great run and Joe D was a big part of that. Rather than for the bad pick, I'll always remember him as a first class guy, terrific player, and the relationship he had with his dad including the surreal, incredible game he had after his dad died.

He just said kids, who don't spend tons of time thinking about mortality, are more resilient, which is generally true.
I'm just enjoying a great win and more importantly that everyone is okay. It was awesome seeing the kids enjoy the game and Beilein just being so happy to be associated with this class group of kids.

Who thought you'd ever hear that? The heat is definitely going to be turned up on Thad. This is not just one bad season, but it may be the worst in The Ohio State memory.
|2 weeks 4 days ago||Are you talking about Pique's "handball"?||
That is NOT a handball and parents who scream at referees in instances like this drive me nuts. The ball was fired directly at him from close range and his arm was in a natural position down by his side. He did not make himself bigger, he could not avoid the ball, and the ball played him (not the other way around). That is NOT a handling foul.
As far as Suarez's foul/dive that was borderline in my opinion. The problem is that the defender had no idea where the ball was, wasn't looking for it, and was 100% intent on obstructing Suarez. The ref has to "guess" as to the defenders intention. He seemed to be correctly calling plenty of dives on Suarez , Neymar and Barca all day so I don't think he was biased as some suggest.
At the end of the day PSG played like crap with no guts. Giving up six goals is no accident even to a super team like Barca. They have only themselves to blame.

PSG total choke job. It was like Seattle throwing the ball on the last play of the Super Bowl.
