Well done. I just had a hard time getting rid of the unicorns...

Schwartz is in over his head and needs to go NOW.

Lots of people here know their stuff. We can't compete for a NC? But if it makes you feel better, google Ricky Doyle. I have 100% faith in Beilein knowing what he needs to compete for a NC.

F%ck cancer! It's great that she is a fighter. I bet Bo, the ultimate fighter, would be proud. She is an inspiration to all of the wolverine nation and a reminder to everyone to enjoy every maize and blue cotton pickin' day!

Good question regarding Hoke. Sadly I can't come up with a scenario where Hoke is better than 6th best in the B1G right now. I do expect a good bowl performance and things to turn around with a more experienced team and easy home schedule next season.

GRIII seems to lack the confidence to create his own shot and to hit an open deep shot. It's as if when the spot light is on him too much he doesn't have that swagger needed when things don't go right. Maybe it is the pressure of having to be "the man" this year vs supporting stars last year? Check out the last three minutes of the Duke game when the game was over - all of a sudden GRIII starts making great plays. The talent is there. JB and staff need to work on the in between the ears stuff.

Went together like peas and carrots. RIP to a real Michigan man.

Ross or Morgan at 100% who are still learning much. JMFR is rarely out of position,is a leader, and just makes plays. I expect him to have a monster bowl game.

Plenty calling in to Detroit sports radio 97.1 to discuss treatment by Ohio fans in Indianapolis. None of these callers seem to be fans of UM, but they were amazed the level of douchebagdom on display by SOME Ohio fans. Now that Sparty is a threat they will see the real Ohio on display. Can't wait until Ohio loses multiple games next year.

for ticket in UM section and UM Alumni Association tailgate. That's about the same price as watching Akron in the Big House.

I also wonder if OSU will stop their placing as much crazy importance on the UM game. In today's BCS and B1G money making scheme it really doesn't mean a tremendous amount like it used to. I know it is blasphemy, but things do change...

I ALMOST feel bad for them. Now if Clemson beats them and then Miller announces he is going pro the schadenfreude will be comlpete.

Yet another year they have screwed OSU's season. UM hasn't done that OSU in many years. Not happy about it but them are the facts...
|1 week 3 days ago||OSU has the most irrational fans||
Just wait for their backlash if OSU blows this game after two years without a loss. They'll be calling for the firing of every coach and abusing their own players. Sparty on the other hand will burn coaches regardless of the outcome. Can't wait to see one side totally pissed in 3 hours or whenever it takes to finish a half with all these All State commercials.

I just don't think the city should be in the real estate business. The property fits in well with the Brandon empire and probably should go to UM. If the city were so concerned with its tax base it wouldn't have the least friendly tax incentives for businesses in Michigan... I'm surprise no one is talking about how U-M plans to turn Ferry Field, where Jesse Owens set 4 world track records, into a parking lot. Nice respect for history.

Very hard to have patience but these guys do deserve one more year. Would like to see a name QB coach installed.

I find most alums of B1G schools have things in reasonable perspective about rivalries and appreciate good team effort regardless of the outcome. When you listen to sports talk radio, or shock sports "journalists" they try to stir the pot NOT with this group, but rather the Walmart fans whose lives seem validated by W's and L's... don't get me wrong the loss was a bitch, but life goes on, and I'll be optimistic and supportive of the kids come August... Also, I totally rationalized the loss that we were probably going to same bowl game regardless,lol... btw I referee soccer and ignorant "fan behavior" has totally wanted me to distance myself from those whose life outlook is primarily determined by sports outcomes achieved by others.

Keeps things in perspective and shows a bit of what Coach Hoke is made of. This is not made up for the media. I doubt you will ever see him involved in a scandal, cheating, or screwing with a kid's education/ future for the sake of wins. I listen to him speak every Monday at Webber's and he is a pretty well grounded family guy with good midwestern values. A player's dad told me that he wanted his son to play for a coach who he could totally trust, cares about the kids, acts with class, is passionate about football, and one that he would enjoy having a burger and beer with. Coach Hoke was that guy, not the guys at MSU, ND, or OSU.

We wouldn't be posting about the Texas Chainsaw Bowl....Alfredson just scored on the Sens. Sweeet!

A conference game or two has little impact on National Championship goals. Illinois destroyed UM twice in 1989 during the regular season before we beat them in the semis with Sean Higgins put back at the buzzer. Conference tournaments are just money makers with little meaning. Football is basically ruin your conference opponents season with a win - every man for himself.
|2 weeks 2 days ago||Sorry UFM||
You may be a swell guy, but any civility from your fan base is totally self serving (stick together B1G so Ohio doesn't get by passed in the polls) and because you have owned the last decade in a crappy conference. During the Cooper era, with roles reversed, the Ohio fanbase was highly insane with hatred for UM and I loved it. And the rivalry is NOT in full swing until UM WINS some games and ruins your precious season. Your fanbase is so paraniod, spoiled and delusional, I wish nothing but nothing but bad things for all Ohio sports teams and throw in the Indians, Cadavaliers, Blue Jackets, Browns and Bengals. Go Auburn!!
|2 weeks 2 days ago||Rooting for Ohio to lose to MSU||
Sparty is drunk uncle but Ohio is Kim Jung il and Hitler combined. Screw them and that co-ed groping Meyer. I'd also be fine to see the classless Hall and Co. humiliated with their crappy defense and jail sexed by another FLorida team in a MNC game... Sparty's loss to ND is inexplicable but the rest of their body of work and eye test would indicate that they would be the best B1G representative on and off the field... Conference respect will only come when the B1G beats good SEC teams. The Iowa (Missouri), Wisky (S. Carolina/Auburn), Minnesota/Minnesota (Georgia) matchups are very bad and likely blow out losses to SEC teams. I'm sure that Pelini will represent the B1G well too (can't even type that without laughing)... Anyone with eyes can see the SEC, while down a bit this year, is still head and shoulders above the B1G.
|2 weeks 2 days ago||Refs got it right||
The spineless B1G wont do anything more. Personally I think any collegiate player that flips off the crowd should be punished in addition to time missed for fighting. I don't care if it's Lewan or Hall, there is no place for this in college sports and reflects VERY poorly on the team. I've watched the fight a few times and have not seen Jake Ryan throw a punch (shoving yes) so I don't see any reason why we should be "thankful" he wasn't ejected.... btw it is no coincidence that Hall and Clark are Glenville HS products. Overall great talent there, but little discipline.
|2 weeks 3 days ago||Totally am rooting for Sparty||
Worst OSU fans are the dumbest, most arrogant, PARANOID, individuals in the B1G. Worst MSU fans are just drunks that forget what sport is being played by halftime. If OSU doesn't get into the MNC game or gets jail sexed by FSU, it will be like Christmas to see their whiney fans crying disrespect, calling for the firing of coaches, leaving the B1G conference, etc.

New Years day bowl vs SEC is the most we could hope for after this season. Recruiting in Florida wouldn't be hurt with a local appearance also. It would be no gimme even if good Michgan shows up. Only bummer would be a possible conflict with the Winter Classic at the Big House for the few Wings/UM fans.
|2 weeks 3 days ago||Think about how bad ND||
was when they had the same interior line situation not that long ago. Remember how they couldn't stop our bltz and we killed poor Jimmy CLausen. A couple years later they were playing for a NC withthe same linemen. Experience is everything on an OLIne and we haven't had it in a while ( and yes i still blame RRod for that!).
