As a Dolphins' fan, I was pretty excited when I read this article, this morning: |
| 19 weeks 21 hours ago | Actually GRIII was born on |
Actually GRIII was born on January 8, 1994. So he would've already been born when that game happened. Interesting fact that I hadn't heard before he was born three months premature and only weighed 3lbs 4ozs. He had to spend the next two months in an incubator with a mini basketball, according to wikipedia. |
| 34 weeks 3 days ago | I vote for this and then |
I vote for this and then Oklahoma State home and home in 2016-2017. I would really like to see us play West Virginia at soom point in the near future too. |

"She got ironic tattoos on her back. That aint ironic bitch, I love Rugrats!" Childish Gambino would be at the top of my to-see list if I was going. |

Oh, you mean 30 years before I was born? Wow, things do change fast... lol But seriously, I agree with your point, probably could've picked a better example though. |
| 1 year 11 weeks ago | You say that about being |
You say that about being annoyed about allowing a short team score on a corner kick, but height isn't everything. IIRC, Japan had multiple corner kick (or possibly headers off of free kicks that were basically corners) goals in the Women's World Cup. Some teams are just really good at moving and getting people open for headers. |

Speaking of recent polls, did Brian ever release the results of the poll on how the blog feels about the B1G division names? |

| 1 year 13 weeks ago | So, assuming we win out, OSU |
So, assuming we win out, OSU wins out, and MSU and Wisconson win out except against OSU, there would be a three way tie between UM, OSU, and MSU. Tie-breaker 1 does nothing, because all split our regular season series. Tie-breaker 2 comes into affect, and Wisconson is the first team that we compare against. OSU and MSU would each be 2-0 against Wisconson, and we would be 1-0. Therefore, we would get the third seed. It's tough to project the standings past fourth, so I'm not sure who would end up winning the tie-breaker between MSU and OSU. Does this seem correct? |

The best part: Before I clicked, I wasn't sure if this was gonna be about basketball or football. |

How about three times? Once OOC, then The Game, and then again in the B1G championship game. |

That picture is clearly not allowed. Now this tufted titmouse, is perfectly okay. |
| 1 year 22 weeks ago | There are an infinite number |
There are an infinite number of explanations as to why you couldn't see it/it didn't happen before. As to his arms shaking, he probably has them on his lap, and shaking his leg is making them shake. Really not concerned at all. |

Okay, after seeing that, I went out and got multiple subscriptions to every newspaper that I could find. We all have to do our part. |

Penn State agrees with you. They got rid of the blue collar this year. |
| 1 year 22 weeks ago | Only semi-related, but I |
Only semi-related, but I can't start a new thread: Northwestern is switching to Under Armor uniforms next year. I think this is a good move, if you ever get anything as ugly as what they wore against PSU this year, I think a move to a new provider should be required. I know a lot of teams have come out with ugly alternate uniforms lately, but I honestly think these are the worst I've ever seen.

Agreed, very Michael Crichton-esque. |

Actually all of his assistant positions have been defensive positions. DC at Bowling Green, CB coach at OSU, and DC at Ok State. |

To me, the bowl game in Boise will always be the Humanitarian Bowl. |
| 1 year 27 weeks ago | I think that we would get |
I think that we would get picked above Stanford, there where empty seats at the Stanford-Oregon game and that was a top-10 game at home for Stanford. Also, even if Houston loses, both TCU and Southern Miss are close to the cutoff to make the BCS, so I think we have to assume that one of UH/TCU/USM makes the BCS. Especially since USM winning out means that they would be boosted by beating UH. So, here's how I see it, NCG: SEC vs Oklahoma State, Rose: B1G vs Oregon, Sugar: SEC vs UH/TCU/USM, Fiesta: Oklahoma vs Nebraska/Michigan, Orange: ACC vs Big East |

We probably won't make the B1G championship game even if we win out. |

| 1 year 32 weeks ago | In regards to #2, the polls |
In regards to #2, the polls have something of a predictive nature to them. By ranking us 10th, that shows that many people think that we will finish with 2-ish losses. If you don't think that is the case, then if you were a voter you could've slotted us lower, as I'm sure some voters did. It is not a guarantee that we will finish with 2-ish losses, that is just what the general consensus among the voters is. Also, as maquih mentioned, 10th has no implication for quality of play, it simply means that they believe we are the 10th best team in the country, however good or bad that is varies from year to year. |
| 1 year 32 weeks ago | I'm assuming that it includes |
I'm assuming that it includes all of the votes from all season, which makes them very slow at reacting to changes. Last week was the first week we were even in the "others receiving votes" category, coming in at 26. |
| 1 year 32 weeks ago | I want to believe that it's |
I want to believe that it's not 2010. But according to that chart, at this point of the season in 2010 we had played all the same teams with the exact same result. |

| 1 year 34 weeks ago | I go to school at Grove City |
I go to school at Grove City College, which is five minutes away from Slippery Rock and you definitely want to eat at The Brewery, it's a really great place to eat, I'm underage so I don't personally know how good the beers are, but there are a couple guys on my hall that seem like they go down there for beer at least once a week, so I'm assuming it must be pretty good. |
