Right? You're the only one who gets it. This movie would look great even without the reveal at the end.
Ypsi-Arbor Bowling

Great choice with the picture below the headline. Ypsi-Arbor was the realest bowling alley around, gritty and classic all at once.  Hell, it inspired my username.  Then it went out of business, was sold for scrap, demolished, concluding with the beautiful sign finally going to one of the Dakotas after some reality tv show said they would buy it then decided it wan't worth it. That sad piece of history still doesn't depress and infuriate me as much as Michigan football has this season.  Ugh.

Lloyd Brady and Brian

Did anyone at the event take a picture of the historic moment when Lloyd Brady and Brian finally met for the first time?  Let's hope so, for perpetutity's sake. I was sitting behind Brian when LB introduced himself and said "You probably know who I am".  I knew I was witnessing something special, something very meta.

Support you local archives and special collections libraries! Rather than wait for something online, I recommend people travel to the Bentley to research and explore their vast collections in person.
1.) They give public access to original documents detailing the rich history of UM and the state of Michigan.
2.) It's a renowned repository, so the collections are well-organized and labeled.
3.) Plus, nothing beats interacting with history, up close and personal.
So check out their online finding aids and then visit them on North Campus!
The '94 Wisconsin game is EMU's biggest home win, probably

Someone mentioned this above, but today's win does not compare to EMU's home game against Wisconsin in late December, 1994.  Wisconsin was ranked in the top 15 and had a future NBA all-star/champion in Michael Finley.  Then a freshman Earl Boykins went crazy on both offense and defense, allowing EMU to jump to a 50-17 halftime lead.  50-17, yeah, it was  pretty great.  EMU took it easy in the 2nd half, but still won by 20.  There are only two EMU games I've attended where people rushed the court after, today and in 1994, and nothing can compare to latter.

Ned Nederlander perhaps? I think you're thinking of the name of Martin Short's character in the Three Amigos. THIS STUFF'S IMPORTANT!
Not cool. They stole my only dance move. That's all I had.
Too soon, Brian, too soon

Lane Pryce, you will be sincerely missed.

Quote of the year

"It’s strength versus weakness on both sides of the ball, but it’s the weakness who is stronger is the team who will prevail."

Thank you, Matt Millen, for constantly reminding the world that you should stay away from the game of football.
