"The University of Illinois is also in turmoil. The university sports an Interim Chancellor, an Interim Athletic Director, and an Interim Football Coach; the game will be played at Soldier Field, making this an Illini Interim Home Game."

“Do you know something I don’t know? We’ve got a bounce in our step. We’re ready to go.”

Ever since The Guarantee, I understood that sports was more mental than physical. Sure, it's nice to have Pep's athletic ability. It's a must to play that level of competition, but he wins with his mental toughness. Harbaugh knows this. Harbaugh taught me this when I was eight years old.

His statue was delivered to Norman this week on the back of a flatbed, uncovered. The president of the university was not happy.

Beau Bishop is the absolute worst. I can't wait until JMFH shuts him up.

I live in Columbus and I come here to get away from those idiots.

Seventy-some teams make bowls. Can I argue we're probably worse than seventy teams? Probably. And we're probably going to lose to the rest of the probable bowl teams on our schedule, and I will probably be drunk and surly during each of those games... Probably.

I've lived in Columbus for the past 9 years, and for the most part, it is good natured ribbing. However, I would never put anything on my car or wear Michigan gear to a restaurant. Aside from drunks flexing for their boys, anyone that would do something dispicable wouldn't do it to your face. Like I said, most people are cool, but it only takes one coward to key a car or put some "fromunda" cheese on your steak. That being said, the Convention Center and Arena district is a great place to hang out. The Arnold is a cool event and great for people watching. Be sure to check out the North Market and tsio campus is a short drive up High Street if you want to see what people not smart enough to get into Michigan look like. Go Blue and keep Louisville weird!

They are ridiculously expensive. COTA busses are notoriously unreliable. There is plenty of cheap parking for the Schott, but you have to ride a shuttle with all of the osu mouth breathers.

Perhaps I'm just biased because I live in the belly of the beast, but ohio fans are just so insecure. They're the pretty girl that needs to tear everyone else down. And their obsession with Michigan (the state and school) borders on psychotic. MSU fans are just the desperate, drunk girl who'll do anything for attention.

This year's point guard class isn't particularly deep, and his size and raw talent make him very desirable. However, with the looming lockout, it doesn't seem that any team would throw first round money at what some would deem a project. The young man has a tough decision, and I hope he is getting solid advice.
As far as the team goes, I live in Columbus and I saw Trey Burke play a couple of times. He's very fast and will be a great distributor, if not scorer. His Godfather (another M fan in Cbus) told me that he was ready to sign with Cincy. Ultimately, he decided a Michigan education was too good to pass up, even if it meant backing up Darius for a year or even two.

I hope Hoke will amend his schemes to fit his players, then recruit his "type" of player. I think that was what's his name's biggest mistake.
