1. Point at stuff
2. Start with a normal helmet every year and let the seniors choose whether to add numbers, gray facemasks and/or stickers (no numbers and stickers though). Nothing else is an option.
AFAIK, Bakes bigger problem was with Gholstons neck twist. As it should be.
MSU did a masterful job of managing that story. Not even the B1Gs suspension or any story mentions anything but the punch. And IMO the punch isn't a big deal. The neck twist two seconds after the play?? Bigger deal.
The B1G is undisputedly (at worst) the second best football conference, especially with the addition of Nebraska.
If you win the B1G title, you are in the hunt for the national championship. And if you lose a game, you can still win the B1G, and the rest of the games mean something.
Yup. For all of RRod's failings his inability to put his most talented players on the field is by far the most egregious.
Plus after reading the toussaint fluff piece, and Jackson's quotes about how he was going to get some real time in the game, it doesn't appear that Jackson and Rodriguez were on the same page at all.
The only problem I have with the offense is the seeming inability to put teams away. Yesterday's game would have been much different had the offense finished the drive in the early second to take a 21-3 lead, instead of throwing a pick six to narrow the score to 14-10?
Just imagine if the offense would have scored a td instead of the pick six. 21-3 and the d could really have turned up the heat.
Great job though D.
When is the time to HIRE GERG's replacement is the better question? If its true that Casteel is going to shake loose after the season, then GERG will be replaced within 24 hours of Casteel being fired.
Otherwise, it will probably be after bowl season when the rest of the country is making coaching decisions.
I know nothing other than what has been reported, but this smells suspiciously like Dee Hart's interest in Alabama, or Big Will Campbell's decommitment.
I hope I'm wrong, but I don't really believe Arnett is seriously considering UMich
So much of the kicking game is mental, and that's a huge change from high school. Kicking in front of 100 people v. 100,000 people. Letting down 600 people, instead of letting down 600,000 people...
No scheme will work if the players don't execute. The execution and playing discipline of this team is terrible and directly responsible for the results.
When execution and discipline break down year after year, who's fault is that?
The essential Obi Ezeh play was on Caper's nine yard TD run. He lines up at the 4 yard line, ball is snapped, he jumps in place, accepts the blocker, gets blocked a yard deep into the end zone, then tries to act like a big man in the end zone.
I'm not saying that RR needs to be fired, but to give him a pass for the talent on the defense is silly. He's been the coach for three years, and his recruits are now juniors.

It doesn't mean he did or did not commit an assault in this case. Instead it means he made unwanted sexual contact with an intoxicated person.

Maybe WMU doesn't count?

But that he didn't see the cop when he did it and he did something which got him pulled over
Looks like G'Town is going to be busy watching Ohio State and Purdue! :)

Well we know he wants to touch as much of the student body as he can... :)

It seems like Hagerup may have gotten screwed a little.
Plus Chris Howard was married to Gabrielle Union. Hubba Hubba!
NU had 32.
Purdue had 14.

Demar Dorsey is not playing anywhere. That's sad that these guys have squandered this opportunity (whether at UMich or elsewhere).
As far as I can tell, Smith ran the ball four times in the first half. Every other play was a Denard throw or run.
That's why he gets so much credit or blame.

Great way to start the day!
That's exactly the point, when was the last time a Running back ran the ball 20 times in a game, and didn't miss a down?
I was just coming to ask the same thing. Buying players no big deal. Extra stretching is an abomination.
John Kolesar?
I think Roundtree should be given 21 in honor of Des. 21 to dominant slot guys, 1 to dominant outside guys.
Seems to me that Michigan beat a better Wisconsin team a couple of years back...
He is an awesome guy for sure. But he was also named a Maxwell semi-finalist today.
How sad is this. I spent many many hours wandering the aisles drunk.

I thought Fitzgerald did a fine job at LB. Roh looked much better as a DE, and I'm glad the coaches allowed the change.
This a-hole was so full of himself, I wanted to punch the tv.
Bowl bound baby! I love it!

I agree that I don't understand that. Hopkins fumbles once and is benched for three games. V.Smith fumbles and he's back on he next series.

I believe he stated that he secret recruit couldn't make it because of a school commitment, but that he would be taking an official in a few weeks.
Obi has started for several years. He was given plenty of opportunity to "get it." Rich Rod should have replaced him long ago.
You don't think its a little unreasonable to expect the elderly man behind you to stand up for the entire game?
Or do you think the elderly man behind you wants to look at your rear instead of the game?
LOL! Is that a true quote?
Ever since I saw the wings on the Oregon jerseys I've wanted wings on our uniforms too!

What's the excuse for the terrible LB'er play?
LOL! Brother also implies some sort of familial arrangement. So is also a fact that UM and MSU are siblings in the same family?

I can't imagine a worse play honestly.

THIS is the defense he has recruited.
HaHa is coming on an unofficial too.
I thought he looked pretty darn good on the couple plays I saw him in on.
