|2 weeks 2 days ago||I think Brady Hoke||
now has that solved.
|2 weeks 2 days ago||I've always been a fan of this play.||
The wham block is tough to defend, especially if the D line isn't ready for it as noted in the analysis.
NFL teams seem to love this same play. If you have a decent H back/TE type who can block, it's a great way to keep the D honest by running up the middle.
|2 weeks 5 days ago||Agreed.||
That and the wildcat with Peppers are now diagnosed by good teams.
|4 weeks 3 days ago||I love the Tree.||
I was at a Rose Bowl tailgate and the Tree was hanging around (no pun intended) while the Stanford pep band was playing. The band began playing Rubberband Man by The Spinners. The Tree went into dancing overdrive, and had everyone staring in amazement as he spun and danced like a crazy person for the whole song. How he stayed upright, I have no clue. Have loved the Tree ever since.
|4 weeks 4 days ago||I am assuming||
that Harbaugh and Drevno are just setting up other plays with Morris and the Wildcat with Peppers. No reason to show it yet, but it is frustrating because currently the opposition knows exactly what's coming. Hopefully OSU will be the recipient of the next up plays from those formations.
|4 weeks 4 days ago||Agreed.||
People watching at home are not liking the 4 hour games. It also makes watching in person unbearable. Way too much downtime in the stands, especially if the weather sucks.

Look at the rest of the results from Saturday. We won a rivalry game on the road against a team that routinely plays their best game of the year against us, and this year had nothing to lose as they were going nowhere.
|5 weeks 8 hours ago||I think many of us have that same mix||
of optimism and anxiety. We've all seen Dantonio have his team ready to play over the past decade when it comes to Michigan. No doubt they'll play their best game of the year tomorrow. However, their best still falls far short of Harbaugh & Cos. best.
I like the Maize and Blue by at least 3 scores. After Dantonio empties his trick play folder, all hell will break loose in EL and the romp will be on.
|5 weeks 8 hours ago||Is the NCAA allowing||
rouge points tomorrow? If not, that score might be a zero instead of a one.
|5 weeks 15 hours ago||I said it before,||
Dantonio is going ot have to eventually bust out a couple of gadget and trick plays. He won't do it right away, as he thinks it signals to the other team that he knows he is outmanned. But you know they will be coming and he'll have to make those calls whether he likes it or not...running on 1st and 2nd down and then trying to convert 3rd and 7 ain't gonna work for the Spartans tomorrow.
|5 weeks 2 days ago||Agreed.||
They may be the blind pig that finds the acorn on a deep ball or two. The running game will be non-existent. It won't be pretty for the Spartans.
I do expect Dantonio and Co. to dial up a few gadgets that no one has seen yet. After those are gone, it's good night Irene.
|5 weeks 2 days ago||The trouble with MSU starts with the O line.||
The play has been so bad up front. Machado keeps getting yanked, Keiler was moved inside initially because he's so slow, and the younger guys (Higby, Lukusa and Beedle) just aren't ready. Allen is it up front for them. I expect Don Brown to absolutely make their collective lives miserable on Saturday. Hard to see MSU scoring more than 10 points, and that may be generous.
|5 weeks 2 days ago||My family has a large number of Michigan fans.||
I'm the only one with a degree (actually two) from that august institution in Ann Arbor. My family members that are non-alums are in many ways more passionate than I am about the Wolverines, and I'm pretty damn passionate about my team. They all grew up rooting for the Maize and Blue, and due to geography, grades, etc., did not attend school at UM. I still consider them 100% real fans. They love Michigan.

Fox in Socks.
|6 weeks 4 days ago||25-30 are Spartan heavy, including the Spartan parents. As||
you mentoin, 4 and 5 are visitor heavy.
|6 weeks 4 days ago||In the lower bowl,||
you'll want to be in or very near Section 4. I would look at Section 5 next, then Section 3.
|7 weeks 2 days ago||Iowa fans||
Had a great time in Iowa City several years back for a game. Fans are really friendly. We were eating dinner at a local pub after the game (which Iowa lost), and still got visited by many Iowa fans coming to our table to talk. Nice bunch.
Only fans that are nicer are Nebraska's. Both Nebraska and Iowa are the gold standard for fans and their treatment of visitors.

The medical school is outstanding too.
|10 weeks 4 days ago||Couldn't agree more.||
Michigan has ALWAYS recruited well in Ohio. This is one thing that is frustrating me a bit with our recruiting, we seem to be bypassing Ohio for the time being.
I'm hoping Harbaugh and Co. are in a relationship building mode and waiting for those visits to bear fruit. Even Dantonio has had some success recruiting in Ohio (see LJ Scott among others), so I would expect Michigan to be able to pull a few high profile kids out of there.
|14 weeks 1 day ago||Need a better bagman.||
The current bunch ain't gettin' the job done.
|15 weeks 3 days ago||Have to love how the OL recruiting has shaped up||
I have been mighty worried about the OL recruiting. I guess that was a waste of time. Harbaugh, Drevno and Co. are knocking it out of the park. Can't wait to see the type of bulldozer OL that Harbaugh put together at Stanford.
|19 weeks 3 days ago||Is Peters the guy to grab the job for several seasons?||
I'm wondering if this year's QB, be it O'Korn or Speight, can hold this kid off next season. Gonna be a battle.
|19 weeks 3 days ago||LJ Scott (RB) is an interesting omission also||
given his performance last year and how much Sparty likes to run the footbaw.
|20 weeks 2 days ago||Solid suggestion||
I like it.
|23 weeks 2 days ago||MSU is in desperate need of OL help||
so Clemons being back at least gives them a guy with experience. Clark, Allen and especially Conklin were very good until Alabama got to them. I see State struggling to run the ball at all with what they have back on the O line. Glasgow, Wormley, Hurst and Co. should keep the running game bottled up, and the MSU passing game will be a shadow of it's former self. I see 2016 being a lot like 2013 for MSU - good defense (McDowell and the LBs are solid), and a poor performing offense leading to a lot of tight losses. The game vs UM will not be a tight loss, I expect a 10+ point margin of victory for the Wolverines.
|23 weeks 3 days ago||I am one who actually reads Draftageddon from start to finish||
Why? Because I love college football and watch a shit ton of B1G games every season. I feel like I actually know something about the different teams, and which players to look for. There have been several occasions where I've watched a game and saw a player mentioned in the later rounds here make (or not make) a big play. Last year's Minnesota CBs would be an example.
|23 weeks 3 days ago||We often sit around here and lament||
the lack of our team's ability to get to the rim. I like this pick up because we need guys that can create their own shots. Should be a nice add. Beilein will always have shooters on the roster. A slasher of Matthews' caliber is welcome.
|25 weeks 1 day ago||That was my thought.||
This has to be a joke or a setup. I can't imagine any real fan with a measure of self respect doing this.
|26 weeks 7 hours ago||Somebody needs to stuff||
Sankey's mailbox with the list of recent SEC violations and current investigations. Copy Paul Finebaum on that same list. Unreal how these guys stand on a dirty soapbox to complain.
|26 weeks 2 days ago||I know softball isn't exactly a revenue sport, but||
was anyone else surprised at Hutch's salary, or lack thereof? I was thinking that she might be more highly compensated given her success.
