How did Brian put it? "Fire…

How did Brian put it? "Fire Warde into the sun"

If you spell Greg with more…

If you spell Greg with more than two g's, you are a sociopath.

At the time this column was…

At the time this column was written, Ohio State still employed a shocking number of assistants who don't recruit, cannot recruit, cannot coach adequately - or a combination of all three.

Yeah, recruiting is really a sore spot for An Ohio State University.

okay.gif

Man, eleven warriors staff writing really went down the shitter since they hired Urban, huh...

Except that M is not…

Except that M is not speaking at all, carrying nothing, and bending over while asking everyone to "plese be gentle this time"

When the other 13 (soon to…

When the other 13 (soon to be 17) members are actively trying to sabotage you through the sheer willpower of complaint and succeeding is exactly the time to peace the fuck out.

Fuck it, if the Big Ten or…

Fuck it, if the Big Ten or the NCAA actually try and suspend Harbaugh before any actual investigation, then Michigan should 100% just ignore it and let him keep coaching.

Fuck the Big Ten and fuck the NCAA.

I'm sure r/cfb is going to…

I'm sure r/cfb is going to handle this information with their usual patience and tact, and surely not rush to call this offense "legal and within the bounds of the rulebook" while simultaneously screeching for the Big Ten and the NCAA to ban harbaugh from coaching football for life.

And MSU flairs on r/CFB are…

And MSU flairs on r/CFB are unironically clamoring for Dantonio to come back.

"Not everything/everyone are…

"Not everything/everyone are what they seem and I learned that from my time here at Michigan."

Wonder what that's about. Seems like more than NIL thing, but what do I know (nothing.)

"Over the past 2 year, only…

"Over the past 2 year, only one Raider coach has managed to last 3 full seasons."

I can see why.

 I'm telling you, it's jobs…

I'm telling you, it's jobs. We gotta get jobs. Then we get the khakis. Then we get the chicks.

On one hand, I want him to…

On one hand, I want him to stay and to keep the rivalry interesting.

But on the other, OSU is beyond due for some actual hardship years. No institution has embraced the concept of falling up harder than them.

To piggyback off of this can…

To piggyback off of this can somebody explain what the fuck this was...

  • Only 7 rush attempts for 57 yards and a TD vs. Youngstown State when they had their starters still playing going into the 4th quarter. This was literally one week after steamrolling Northwestern with 23 attempts for 264 yards (11.5 ypc) and 4 TDs.
Agree on the dueling UFRs…

Agree on the dueling UFRs.

Seth for consistency, Brian for catharsis.

"It's the MICHIGAN (tm)…

"It's the MICHIGAN (tm) Difference!!1!"

You're right, we are…

You're right, we are undefeated in moral victories! Those who stay will be (imaginary) champions!!

You're right, we are…

You're right, we are undefeated in moral victories! Those who stay will be (imaginary) champions!!

Bold of you to assume…

Bold of you to assume Michigan won't also have a minimum of two more conference losses.

Behind Penn State? Or…

Behind Penn State? Or Maryland? Certainly not Rutgers or IU?\

I can see it.

go root for the local high…

go root for the local high school team then.

He didn't use asterisks…

He didn't use asterisks because you can fucking swear on the internet.

That's just it. They won't…

That's just it. They won't take a swing, they'll keep harbaugh cause 8-10 wins and September/October hype will keep the steady cash flow and at the end of the day, that's all this school and athletic department give a shit about. Would they make more money winning championships? Absolutely. But that is risky and god forbid Michigan takes a risk ever again after we ran Rich Rod out of town.

It's a huge risk to fire a…

It's a huge risk to fire a pretty successful coach for someone who is untested at Michigan

I gotta ask this to you because you are my proxy for that portion of the fanbase: Are you content winning 8-10 games most years if it means:

  1. No big ten titles
  2. No playoff appearances
  3. Losing record against our rivals
  4. An extreme reluctance to adapt to the modern game in any way
  5. A complete disregard for the existence of tempo
  6. No halftime adjustments

?

It was definitely a reach to…

It was definitely a reach to hire him but MSU was willing to take a risk and Michigan never will

Yep, and I, for one, can't wait to see who the next "MiChIgAn MaN!" retread we choose to continue losing to our rivals for the rest of my life.

Same, there is no way in…

Same, there is no way in hell I'm going to ruin my vacation watching them get thoroughly fucked by OSU in every way a football team can, again.

Well if we go by conference…

Well if we go by conference title wins and appearances, records against our rivals, and playoff wins and appearances, I would definitely say the football program is the fucking loser.

Nope. I was wondering…

Nope. I was wondering whether the MSU game or the PSU game was going to be the part where the other shoe drops and we either choke away a won game or get blown out. Now I have my answer.

People can talk about ifs and buts and close losses, but Harbaugh has had almost as many close wins, and it doesn't change any of the facts or statistics.

I'm told that East Lansing…

I'm told that thanks to an anonymous tip from the youtube comment section, East Lansing police are also asking residents to keep their eyes open for unsuspecting unlit couches.

At the time of my post,…

At the time of my post, there are only 6 comments, 4 of whom are definitely his friends:

Super fire bro! Hope the team sees this, Mel tucker even. GO GREEN

Let's get that BPONE rollin!

I don't know why, but when I was skimming the comments I mistook what you said as "Its just a way to sell games to the manatees."

The fuck kind of 90's tech…

The fuck kind of 90's tech are you using to interact with this site?

"Hurt" Nine Inch Nails…

"Hurt" Nine Inch Nails original or the Johnny Cash cover, either one works.

Good stuff as always. Hope…

Good stuff as always. Hope…

Good stuff as always. Hope Brian is doing well.

They haven't fixed it yet in…

They haven't fixed it yet in my lifetime, I don't expect it to suddenly change.

You mean known alcoholic…

You mean known alcoholic Sark? The same Sark who allegedly coached an entire game against Arizona State while piss drunk? The one who lost a $30 million wrongful termination lawsuit against USC after it was discovered that he had also had numerous other alcohol-related incidents while at Washington and USC? That same Sark?

I would agree with you…

I would agree with you sentiment if the people who were leaving weren't all widely regarded as the best/only people recruiting at Michigan.

No point in doing that…

No point in doing that anymore when half the conference is shielding serial rapists and abusers and killing kids.

I honestly don't expect him…

I honestly don't expect him to say anything then, either. He didn't care during Penn State, didn't care during MSU, why should he suddenly give a shit about OSU?

Call me hopelessly cynical …

Call me hopelessly cynical (I deserve it) but I don't see Urban getting canned for this. If Dantonio and Izzo can still have a job shielding multiple players from consequences, then I don't see OSU dumping their golden goose just cause Urban covered for one guy's sick actions.

"Exactly, but he works for

"Exactly, but he works for Michigan, so obviously he's perfect"

Literally no on in this thread yet has said that. They are criticizing you for heavily insinuating, if not borderline outright saying, that potential private donor fraud is the same as a public university trying to cover up the worst mass sexual assualt crime against children in the known history of the world.

You have a crime of money vs a sexual crime against about 250 children over the span of two decades and you want to act like it's basically the same. There is no comparison there. None. So you can get pissed at everyone calling you out for this dumb ass point that you are trying to make or just accept that you made a really stupid, insensitive and offensive comparison.

How did what he said, in any

How did what he said, in any way, imply that what's going on at Michigan is irrelevant? He simply said that what's going on at MSU is more impactful.

Haunts?

...What?

I'll concede your stats, but why are *all* of

I'll concede your stats, but why are *all* of Speight's struggles solely on Pep? What about the young WRs and underachieving Seniors who couldn't get separation? What about the struggles of the oline?

I'm not saying Pep is good, but he has had some success with Luck (which could absolutely be 99% on Luck) and there are other offensive coaches on the staff who clearly haven't been pulling their weight. I'm just not sure why you want to pin that all on one guy when almost every part of the offense struggled and underachieved.

You decision on Luck's best year and Luck's best

You decision on Luck's best year and Luck's best year with Pep are both very similar and great seasons, so I don't know what your point was with that part of the comment. I'll grant you that his final year with Luck was great. Cleveland is historically where coaches and players go to get paid to ruin their career trajectory, so I'm not going to hold anyone's performance against them during those days. I'll grant you that his Michigan performance hasn't lived up to par so far.

I'm not saying you are 100% wrong on Pep, you might be totally right, but I'm personally not convinced yet that he is the center of all of the offense's problems. I was sort of feeling during the season that there might be something off with the QBs and the Amazon series seems to be reinforcing that.

The o line sucked at pass pro, Wilton had some early season mental struggles and never got the chance to break out of them cause of the injury, O'Korn's ability couldn't match his mouth, Peters seemed alright, but again, took several hits and got injured, one talented WR got injured real early and the other had typical true freshman mental errors...

There were a lot of reasons for the offense to struggle this year. It felt a bit like Murphy's Law and the Amazon series hasn't done anything to dissuade that feeling.

Why would I ever want to root

Why would I ever want to root for OSU, MSU, or Penn State? Two if those programs have created the worst sexual abuse scandals in U.S. history and the other is our biggest rival who doesn't need us giving them bandwagon fans.

It's crazy to me to think there are people outside of the MSU/PSU bubbles who would willingly root for either institution...

Why is this a thread?
