Unpopular opinion: I'd be excited for this upcoming fall if I were a spartan fan. Jonathan Smith and Aidan Chiles bring some new excitement, even more than if Tucker wasn't a pervert and they were in desperation mode(no chance they would have made a bowl game if Tucker was their coach for all of last season).
They won't come close to competing with Michigan, OSU, USC, etc....but they have something exciting to look forward to IMO.
This comes to mind for me too. So much frustration released....and we had a very cocky buckeye fan in the row in front of us. He magically quieted down and left before the game was over. Rushing the field after that with my wife was euphoric!!
Alabama probably beats it because the narrative was that Michigan could get to the playoff, but couldn't beat "the best". Of course Washington to secure the title.
Andddddddddd the 2022 win in Columbus to show that 2021 wasn't a one off.
Our legendary football coach dealt with our president because he didn't like Warde.
There are other reasons to not like Warde(getting dinner with Jim Stapleton last fall is an easy one), but we don't have to even go beyond them in my opinion.
The average CFB fan of other teams don't realize how talented Michigan's RB room truly is right now. We are very far removed from needing transfers at the RB position.
I look forward to Alford's move to Michigan putting us in a btter position on the recruiting trail with the 2025 class(Marquises Davis and Bo Jackson at least).
Think to yourself....Would this journalist that does this for a living really completely make this up? It is possible, but unlikely in my opinion. Strack has long covered Michigan football and it seems a bit delusional to just assume he created this story.
Jordan by all accounts loves Michigan and wants to see Michigan succeed, but he has inferred a ton of progress on Twitter that simply hasn't occurred for the two most important items:
1) Extending Harbaugh
2) Making up front NIL money happen so that the 50%+ of top 100 recruits in the nation actually consider Michigan
Donovan Jackson has been so bad that even OSU fans wanted him to declare for the draft. And those guys think any 5 star that goes to Columbus walks on water.

Judging by how rattled they appear to be about this transfer, it is a rough day in East Lansing 😁
Sidebar, I remember Harbaugh was such a big fan of Dylan McCaffrey in part because he excelled at multiple sports.

I have the perfect gif to post for this, but alas it isn't as simple to do these days
Good point 😂
Even more ironic is that I was at the game in Houston
Mondays aren't supposed to be this awesome!!!
Feels like Avery Gach will be soon
LET'S GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
What a way to start the spring commit list off 😁😁😁
No chance we get this much talent in the portal if Juwan was still here. How can anyone not be optimistic about the way the May era has gone so far?
Hype train for everything Coach May does is flying
No way. Committing to hanging 100 results in becoming a colossal failure.
I sure hope we don’t end up with three stars like Kenneth Grant or Kwity Paye!
MSU wants him more than any recruit ever
If you know you know....
What I'm looking forward to the most this year compared to last year: Not as much bitter wind.
Just kidding, it is the national championship ring celebration and seeing how the new team looks top to bottom!

Okay, I'm done!
GO DUDDITS
YEAH!
He'll be an elite player with May
MHJ is the right pick in my opinion.
Wouldn't be shocked to see Jim end up with at least 2 of Sainristil, Zinter, Keegan, Corum, Johnson and Barrett in later rounds.

If you say it, it's true
Back to back years without Michigan playing in this tournament has sure taken my interest to a new low to be honest.
Pernell Mcphee is exciting, but this would be his first coaching gig. Not sure he has the credibility yet....
Respectfully, who are you to say that this headline is out of line?
We have this forever!
Compare the culture of the football program and the basketball program.
What else needs to be said?
What does anyone expect him to say?
"I'm clearly way over my head here and am not the right guy for the job."

Anyone else freak out for a second thinking someone transferred that you forgot about and they were paid a ton of money to do so?
Ohio…
It is just so bad
Ohio fired their coach
Real sad example
I’d bet good money that they didn’t need to tamper to get their new mediocre starting QB
Blake himself accounted for more tds than the entire PSU, OSU, Iowa, Bama and Washington offenses when they played Michigan.
He'll do 30+ reps of 225 and look very fluid with the best change of direction in the field drills.
He'll probably run a slower-than-we-want 40 and his vertical won't be impressive....but he is Ekeler's height + 10 pounds.
Whoever ends up with Corum will be more than happy about it. Blake the Great!!!
The Running Man for me!
Man...The perfect recruiting, hard work, guys coming back, etc...Just a thing of beauty to see it all come together!
"Hopefully he gets it going in the title game."
-Note on Edwards
Ohhhh yes he did
TomVH, is that you!?
I'm in my late 30's and have been obsessed with Michigan football since I was 10. Nothing would make me lose interest/obsession to be honest.

Must be nice to be Warde and have no checks and balances from a large portion of the fan base.
First home win against Iowa in a few decades. Woohoo!!!
Line 'em up!!

I’m here as well. It was rowdy!!!
Came here to say something similar...
