“The player development is the main thing I like (about Michigan),” Williams said. “You can see that they develop their players. They get them in the gym and they work them hard. And their hard work pays off.”

BBW leftovers? That sounds like a party.

Coincidence that he committed on a day when his brother was on campus? Maybe Ben called him and was like, "Bro, you need to commit to Michigan like now."

I legitimately was. I didn't think he was OSU material.

Whenever CrossFit comes up on this blog, you go on a rampage against it. No one ever talks down on your routines, but you get so defensive about CrossFit. Did a crossfitter bang your wife or something?
Most of the info you have on CrossFit is either dead wrong or stuff that varies widely from gym to gym. On a box jump, for example, you explode up and step down. I've never jumped off a box on a box jump. My big gripe with you is that you have such strong opinions on such incorrect data. But I've gone into detail on this with you before, and I refuse to again.

Although I agree that that was very frustrating, if Funchess becomes Braylon, drops and all, I'm OK with that.

I hated the jumping jack too, at the time. But since we won, it made the jumping jack better,I think.

Weird, I like him more after all the union stuff.
My favorite non-Michigan coach? Al Borges. Specifically because he's not a Michigan coach.

Ugh my yacht will be docked in Monaco that week and I need to be in Geneva the morning after the last game to meet with my banker. For shame.

I would say Pacific, not Pacific Northwest. USC has a pretty damn good track team, and always has. Stanford as well. Really the whole Pac-12.

Good choice by FIFA to have the next World Cup in Russia. I'm sure people will be lining up for those tickets.

He got a lot of those offers early (including us) and many of those teams haven't really been recruiting him since.

Don't forget the most recent, Jeremy Jackson.

Maybe we don't like him as much as other recruits?
You can't take every kid from your big schools in fear that it costs you other kids. OSU doesn't offer every kid that comes out of their feeder schools. I doubt what school a kid goes to plays much of a role at all in how hard our coaches recruit them.

I don't get why this is a problem. You want to make a rule that says players can't play for their dad in college? What a dumb rule that would be. Or is the rule that a qualified HS coach cannot take a job at the college level if his kids are good at the sport he coaches? The things you're proposing are ludicrous.
And haven't assistant coaches been hired for their ability to recruit all the time? MSU just hired an asst FB coach with huge connections in Detroit. No one thought that was shady, everyone said that was smart. And his connections were to many talented players, not just his own kids.

I'm not sure if Black Socks was joking or not, but are you sure your termination was lawful? This is certainly something to evaluate. Meeting with an attorney won't cost you anything, and it might be able to get you your job back, or at least get you some $$$ to hold you over until you can find another job.

Drink, by the sounds of it. Great job, by the way.
When I was home for Christmas, I dropped about 300 bucks at the store there. Every CA relative owns something Founder's.

I like Perrin a whole lot as well. I've never had it outside of their brewery, but what I've had there is delicious.
|1 week 6 days ago||Well that's just not true.||
Well that's just not true. You might think that the best Founder's beer isn't as good as the best beer from another brewery, but the number if different good-or-better beers that Founder's offers is unparalleled by any of the other Michigan breweries. Founder's has such a variety. That said, there are certainly other very good ones, so this certainly isn't a knock on any of the ones you mentioned.

I completely agree with the first half of your post. But I don't think there will be a noticeable difference in talent in Europe compared to high-level NCAA basketball. Sure, they will be older for the most part (though not necessarily by a lot). But the overall talent level is about the same as the NCAA. The worst guys in Europe will be a little better, but the best won't be as good. For example, if Michigan played a pro team in Italy, it would be a good game.

The All Day is certainly the milder version of the IPA, though not a bad option if you're looking to drink for a bit (hence the name). I can't exactly sit through a football game drinking 7-8%ers and be able to stand up by the end, let alone drive.
That said, the Centennial is one of my favorites. For your standard IPA, it's damn good.

If my grocry store had a beer garden...holy shit. "Babe, I'm gonna run to the market and grab a gallon of milk." "But we have two in the fridge." "Can't be too safe. See you in 3 hours."
|1 week 6 days ago||It depends on their other||
It depends on their other needs and how many scholarship they have left to fill those. They already have a very good RB in this class and they took 2 RBs and a FB in 2014. That lends itself to both MSU not needing Weber and to Weber not being too psyched about MSU.
