Tebow knew exactly what he

Tebow knew exactly what he was going to when he went to NY.  It was a smart move as well because I guarantee you he has a $5 million/year job waiting for him on the Today show whenever he wants.  All the morning gab shows will be lining up to hire him.

Mercedes ad 4th quarter

She was in the Mercedes ad in the 4th quarter.

What is up with the refs this year?

Can anyone figure out what the hell is going on with all the ticky tack fouls this year.  It's unbearable to watch since it just kills the flow of everything.  Wisconsin was in the bonus less than 5 minutes into the 2nd half yesterday vs MN.  I was really sweating bullets when Morgan went down since you knew Mitch would get in foul trouble.  Of course the bench came through but it's getting frustrating watching every Big Ten game turn into a free throw contest halfway thru each half.

Do you think it's coming from higher ups or the refs just getting tv (especially TV Ted) and power hungry

NY Times Geography of college football

Found great article today at NY Times which looks at # of fans for each school to help breakdown which schools are attractive for conference expansion.  Maybe some people here can go over how they came up with their #'s but they come to the conclusion that the Big Ten can stand pat.

Here's the article:

Cancellara slowing down the

Cancellara slowing down the whole field after Andy crashed last year still ticks me off to no end.  Why didn't he slow the field down when most of the field crashed in the 1st stage this year (Contador lost over a minute).  Schleck is too talented to make excuses everytime something goes wrong.

The Schleck boys have been so worried about Contador that they've forgotten that their are other great riders that can win as well and Evans and Voeckler have taken full advantage.  I can't believe the ride that Voeckler is doing this year.

The 2 brothers have got to decide who's in charge and just go for it.  When Andy attacks and immediately looks back to see if Frank's coming is not gonna work.  I realize they both want to make the podium with 1 winning but neither might not make it this year.  If they don't they will regret it.  Contador dominated the Giro (which obviously took a lot out of him) and he's now right there with a chance to win the TdF.  Amazing!

After reading the whining

After reading the whining that Andy Schleck did after the race I have lost all respect.  He does realize that going down a mountain does occur in bike racing.  I'm guessing that Cancellara will get a lashing tonight because he didn't get in front and tell everyone to slow down because poor Andy doesn't like going down mountains.

Anyways, it looks like Contador has found his legs and it will be an awesome week.  I don't know if he can bring back Evans with the way he's looked but it should be fun.  I would love to see him do it after losing time early.  The Schlecks will regret not finishing him last week when he was strugging.  Right now I think Evans will win w/ Contador in 2nd and Sanchez/Voeckler in 3rd.

Whatever happens the rest of the week should be fun to watch!

Vader was awesome but

Vader was awesome but 'Imported From Detroit' is the absolute best tagline I've seen.  Totally inpiring commercial.  Anyone who lives in Detroit or works in the auto industry has got to be pumped up after seeing that ad.  Hell I'm in neither of those categories and I was pumped.  I know everyone likes to say that whatever they just saw was the best but that truly might be the best commercial I've seen.

I'm not trying to downplay

I'm not trying to downplay what Rod did but just to add a little to the topic BK played 2 different QBs who were obviously ineffective.  Now I'm not giving him a pass because I don't know how bad Crist was but he thought he could handle playing and he almost won the game if not for Denard.

Now what if Tate hadn't been effective?  How do we know he wouldn't have put Denard back in.  I'm so happy that we have 2 QBs that can play at a high level where we wouldn't have to find the answer to that.  Just trying to add to the conversation.  Have a nice day!

After Peyton Manning's backup

is there an easier job in football than UT Recruiting Coordinator?  20 commits in the beginning of June is just incredible.

That game is exhibit A why That game is exhibit A why you never stop watching playoff hockey when you think it's over. I left the room to run an errand after that stupid penalty and I get back only to see the Hawks celebrating the winning goal in OT. That SUCKED!!!
Wisconsin 1986 I was 12 years old and this was the day I fell in love with Michigan. I lived about an hour from Madison and my best friend's dad had 2 sets of season tickets so we always got one of the sets for just about every home game. Wisconsin obviously didn't have much of a football program at the time so every game we did nothing but screw around. We would go to the student section, follow the pom pom girls during their 3rd quarter march around the stadium, go to the top deck and throw things (we were 12). This game was different. This was the first night game at Camp Randall so the stadium was alive. We went down near the field when the players ran out and the one thing I remember was how big Michigan was. I absolutely fell in love right there. I was in awe. We went to our seats and here sat a beautiful girl who was there with her boyfriend seated next to us. They were a blast to talk to and my friend and I each sat next to her for a half. The game was actually a pretty good game with Michigan winning (Bo's 200th win). We watched the whole game from our seats and had a great time. Now I guess this isn't a memorable game in the sense that most people would think but for me it's the game that started me on a love affair that continues today. Thanks to the OP for starting this thread and bringing back some great memories.
2001 Wisconsin Game The 2001 Wisconsin game went from the loudest sporting event I've ever been to, to the quietest game I've ever been to. The atmosphere was absolutely incredible up until that muffed punt. Just one of those games I'll never forget.
