So I know it's just a few tourney games but I can't help but think the officiating in the big ten really aided OSU and Wiscy. Craft going for a steal on lucious and getting called for a foul seems like a good example. He clearly put his shoulder into his mans chest but Craft doesn't get why the contact is being called. OSU's offense seems incapable of beating a quality opponent the way these games are bring called. |

I don't really cheer for OSU and msu in bowl games, but it is embarrassing when the conference looks like crap. I would prefer OSU win this game but not make it to the championship. To me a bowl game and second round tourney match up are not equal. |

I thought the o line changed their jerseys because they were getting held partly because of excess fabric below the arm pits. I don't know how those bball jerseys would feel to wear for 40 minutes. Maybe they feel the same as a regular tank top jersey, but probably not. But the style change isn't for improved function but purely cosmetic and man does that seem stupid as hell. |

If the change is purely cosmetic I would say the players have little to no input; but in this case where the jersey itself fits differently I bet if the players tried them and said they didn't like it, that would carry a lot of weight. |

I'm definitely a "trust the coaches" type, but this seems strange. Its just that the kid has another season of football, so the two most likely things to happen are: 1. He has a great season, receives other offers and Michigan has to decide whether to match those scholarship offers. 2. He has a meh season, maybe picks up some low level offers and Michigan takes him on as a grayshirt. It just seems strange to offer him even a grayshirt option so early in the recruiting cycle, I could understand if he was a 2013 kid who showed great raw skills or maybe played at a small school somewhere off the beaten path. But it seems like if this kid shows promise UM will have to pony of a scholarship offer in order to keep him coming here. I guess maybe its their way of saying we like your potential but we have a small class so this is our way of showing our interest? |

I'm not sure losing all of our conference's coaches to what are essentially lateral moves (sure USC>msu but he's got to be on short lists for hc jobs) is a good thing. MSU even bumped his salary to make sure he didn't leave for another DC position. At some point the schools in this conference are going to need to invest their BIG network dollars back into their coaching staffs (obviously us, OSU, and PSU excluded) |

Ok well if it's not Brandon who sat down with Adidas and layed out the expectations and vision the university has regarding uniforms, then it is somebody he directly hired. At some point representatives from this university were sold on periodically putting out alternate uniforms and then Adidas went and designed the garbage. Maybe Brandon has nothing to do with which designs were put out, but he had to have played a role in the decision that we were going to head down this road. I'm sure Nike has pitched ideas to Alabama and I'm sure that Alabama's position is that they are going to mostly avoid any changes to their uniforms. Michigan could have taken this position with Adidas but chose differently and Brandon would have been involved in that decision. |

I'm not sure your definition of "major" but Lansing's marathon is end of April. Great time of year to run and its a pretty fast track as long as the the wind isn't blowing 40 mph again this year. I think we had about 500 full marathon participants as opposed to about 800? at A2. I ran in a2 all through undergrad and I can only assume that the marathon course would not be fun to try to BQ on even in the spring or fall. |

I think Hoke's priority for games is the following: Ohio >>>>> Rest of Big Ten > Non-Conference > Bowl Game If Devin Gardner needs to tote the rock 40 times to beat Ohio he will carry it 40 times. I am excited to see this offense next week with no self-imposed lilmitations because of a lack of depth at QB behind Gardner. |

You're not really giving Schofield enough credit for getting 25 yards downfield and blocking the only guy with a shot at Denard. Kwiatkowski's effort is awsome as well but the guy he blocks has a 0% chance of impacting that play. Edit: Sure Schofield doesn't level his guy but he does exactly what he needs to do and allows Denard to make his cut and get to the endzone clean.
