I spoke with a Cooper City Booster recently about this recruit and his response was "WHO?"
It appears the staff prematurely handed out "spots" in the class during the Summer Swarm Tour; only to change their mind and move on to other higher rated recruits. Can't blame them one bit because we need to compete with OSU and the SEC Big Boys (i.e. Bama).
However; Harbaugh extending offers to these lower rated recruits have opened doors for them to other schools... So it isn't all that bad....
If losing Johnson means we new have room to take both McDoom & Pie; I'm good with that!
My educated guess says Johnson is reading the writing on the wall with a log jam at WR in this class.. after all, he was an unexpected commit back on Dec after his visit (or was it during?)
What's up with Rick Finotti? We hired him as a recruiting coordinator (I believe?) last year from St Edwards (traditional powerhouse in Cleveland).
Is he still on staff? Any pipeline to Cleveland recruits developing?? Seems to be the trend with that position on Harbaughs staff...
Who cares what his position on the staff is! As long as we are keeping him, that's all I care about... The dude can recruit!!!
And to think a few weeks ago we all were worried about "Are we going to lose Partridge?" "Who on the staff is leaving to make room? Jackson? Zordich?" Harbaugh is always 3 steps ahead of us; He's Hannibal from The A-Team!!

I've been to every SEC campus and can tell you it is the "best looking" campus in the south... If I would have attended school in the south, it would have been there....
Very historical as well....

The Harbaugh name alone can recruit nationally on its own, unlike Hoke & even Rich Rod... Carr did a solid job of getting the California Kids to come to UM..
Demar Dorsey I believe committed to us back on signing day back in the Rich Rod years (which was kind of a surprise I believe, but may have been a connection with Denard since they are from neighboring high schools down here )... High rated recruit, but never set foot on campus...
How about Roger Harriott?? Former University School (won state champ; had blue chip recruits like Sam Bruce & co), Former FAU running backs coach (experience with the college game), Currently St Thomas Aquinas HC (the powerhouse of all powerhouses in FL).
If you think a Flanagan pipeline is great; just imagine a STA pipeline!
Wasn't Evans going to be converted to a slot receiver for us? Wonder if he will be looking around now with Nate Johnson recently committing ? Hope not, Evans has that game breaker speed we need!

Terrell was an All-American & #8 draft pick... Oh and Orange Bowl MVP (surprisingly not Brady, even though Carr says it was the best game he's ever seen Brady play in a Michigan Uniform)

Is it possible that Urban is going to NFL (ie Browns) and that's why all his players are jumping ship?
The Browns did have one heck of an offer out there to him (one of top highest paid coaches/GM duties, and stake in ownership of team).
After all he did leave UF after a tough season in which he was suppose to be a title contender..
