Bo signed his book with Mitch Albom for me. It was my first and only meeting with him. He was very kind and friendly. It was a wonderful 2 minutes to chat with him.
|2 weeks 3 days ago||Tough Question||
I'm an old fart so I've had 60-70's cars that were cool, but I had a early 80's VW rabbit with a 5 speed that was a blast to drive.
I worked for VW way back. I had another Rabbit that was a lemon, but the red 5 speed with the sun roof provided some nice and easy summer cruzin. It had pep, handled well, and was easy to drive.

I think Houma is faster and will make it.
|3 weeks 6 days ago||Future||
I hope its not a serious injury. I don't think Malzone is going to see the field at U of M. He is a good local talent and a fine young man, but the talent level at U of M at QB is off the charts. Peters and/or McCaffrey are the future.

The El Camino - Good performance, light hauling, car like ride and comfort.
|6 weeks 3 days ago||Thunderbird||
The Wife and I rented a 1980'ish Thunderbird. It was the small boxy one. It was a nice car with a V6, but BUTT ugly.
It was clean and nice when we picked it up at Metro airport. We drove to CO and TX then back. We travelled some Mountain(CO) passes where two boards over a creek was the road, etc.
It was great vacation, but that poor little Thunderbird took a beating. It did perform well, but it was dirty & was running rough by the time we returned. Oh, if that Thunderbird could have told the rental place where it had been - LOL. I bet whoever cleaned it wondered where the hell it had been.

I agree that he is a quick study and a great athlete.
I think he is so athletic that he can get out of position and still make a great play that others can't. Peppers is the #1 Dude.
|6 weeks 6 days ago||Don AZ||
Don AZ nailed it. I just gave ya an upvote, but we can't see it.
Football is kind of a mismatch game. The tall WR's, the fast TE's to beat LB coverage, the ninja slots, etc. The NE Pat's use Gronk, quick slots & Brady gets it out as Don mentioned.
M uses the FB & TE position for mismatchs.

I'm still shocked how easily Bob Kraft the Pats owner took the NFL punishment.
|8 weeks 3 days ago||100||
I drove 100 just once. I was in a big 1972 Delta 88. I did this on I-96 on the West bound side in the Detroit/Livonia area during the day. I was lucky this was pre cell days or I would have been called on. Once was enough!!!!
|8 weeks 4 days ago||Weber||
I'm still using my Weber from over 20 years ago. Its needs a little work now, but its been a great grill.
|9 weeks 3 days ago||My Bud||
My buddy had a early 60's Ford Falcon. He had some after market tunes in that car. It was an under the dash mounted 45 record player designed for a car. It was crazy and the only one I ever saw.
|11 weeks 3 days ago||Door 1, 2 or 3||
Back in about 1983 I had 15k in da bank. This was money I saved for a house.
Door #1 - (I was a part time student) a Prof told me to buy Microsoft stock if I had any cash.
Door #2 - A guy at work had a 59 Vette ragtop for sale. I believe it was 10k'ish.
Door #3 - Buy a house in Royal Oak.
I took door #3 because you need a roof over your head before you buy the hot stock tip or a play toy. I still think about that beauty of a covette and the millionaire MSFT guy I could have been, The story had a happy ending because the Royal Oak 3 bedroom brick ranch was 55k back then near 12.5 & Woodward.

This is a good outcome for LTT.
I hope the victim is fine with this deal. I have a feeling she was consulted about the deal?

My son got his Finance degree and stayed to get his MAcc becuase of the better job offers.
He got his CPA and has been doing great. He told me the MAcc was the key.

Best of luck to Tom.
He never turned into the player we expected, but I understand he was excellent in the class room.
|12 weeks 2 days ago||Headlines||
The media won't write headlines about this story!
|12 weeks 3 days ago||Pancake time||
I would love to see Big Mike pass out pancakes on both sides of the ball.
Can you see him go in on D in the red zone? I guess is he will play in the 330 to 340 range and that is a lot to try to move.
Welcome back, but then you really never left us.
|14 weeks 1 day ago||Excellent||
The last M player I remember with the last name of Long worked out pretty good for us.
David Long looks like a great pickup for M on and off the football field. Welcome young man!!!
|14 weeks 2 days ago||Wow||
This recruiting year seems more carzy than usual. Harbo and the fine season we just finished should have made recruiting easier. Whew!!!!
|14 weeks 2 days ago||Yep||
Mr Johnson is playing with fire. One of the three will have room for him on NSD, but it might not be his first choice.
|14 weeks 3 days ago||EX||
Ex-Wife got the 68 Firebird many years ago. It was a loss, but very well worth it to dump that POS. I wouldn't get another because of the mental baggage.
I would like a rag top. Something like an early 2000's Mustang GT. Not to old, not to much $$, but something fun. I have started a ragtop fund I put $20 a week in. When I'm closer to retirement I'll pay straight cash, Homie!

I'm not looking for battle, but if that young Lady was your Sister you might have a different opinion. I like LTT, but he was wrong and that is why they have a law to cover such incidents.
I hope he gets off easy and can resume his life, but what he did was wrong. Without the alchol involved I think this incident would have never happened. I hope the best for LTT and the young Lady involved.
|15 weeks 3 days ago||My 2 Cents||
I'm later 50's so the minivan stage is over. I don't like to spend a lots of $$$ on cars so I have a 2011 CRV(Wife's car) and a 2011 Corolla for me. I purchased both of them lightly used and they have both been excellent so far.
For the minivan guy I had a Honda and it had a lot of good points, but I had a lot of repairs for a Honda. I would try the Toyota if I were doing it again.
I would love a smaller El Camino type type vehicle. Something not to fancy(lower price) where I could do some light hauling. The trucks these days are over optioned and over priced. Pickups used to be cheap in my day.
I'm planning on keeping my cars and using the $$$ for things I enjoy more.

Best of luck!!!
|15 weeks 4 days ago||Daveon||
Its Daveon's job to lose. I expect to see alot of him next year, but everyone showing well in practice will get carries.
I expect Johnson to see a light, but steady work load just for his health.
To me fullback is more interesting of who will get those reps?
Daveon comment - I didn't like him(slowness) or think we would see much of him this year. Hats off to him for the hard work and proving me wrong. I hope to see the Daveon we saw in the bowl game - Jack Hammer!!!
|15 weeks 5 days ago||Never||
As is written, never argue with an idiot, Sparty or Bucki: they will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.
|16 weeks 4 hours ago||Whew||
Now that is a fit young lady! Good luck to her.
|16 weeks 4 days ago||My 2 cents||
I predicted a while back that we would replace an OL starter in addition to Glasgow at center. I have no idea who the change will happen with., but I expect it.
I agree with Zarniwoop about Kalis struggling. We have all seen it. We finally quit with the untimely offsides once or twice a game this year. That was maddening when he did that every week. Coach Hoke needed to sit him everytime he jumped offsides last year.
I do expect to see an improved OL next year. I'm still hoping to see manball every week.
|16 weeks 4 days ago||My 2 cents||
-I expected a strong running game/OL - It was up and way down.
-I predicted 9 - 3 regular season - nailed it for once.
-I did not expect D Smith to start at RB - Big suprise.
-After 2 - 3 games of Rudock I was ready to throw in the towel - Amazing turn around.
-I'm shocked Shane is staying - I'm glad to have him.
