"I love it that Ivy League coaches are coming to our camp and Big Ten coaches are coming to our camp. South Florida is coming. We've got about 70 schools that are coming to our camp."

Hard work pays off. Keep up the good work DJ

My right pinky is wonky. Doing battle in the football trenches will do that. I wonder if Coach H broke his on a helmet when following thru on a throw?? Wrestling will do that to fingers to.
Dumb story - I started a football game with a wart on one of my fingers(youth football). After the game I had a small hole on my finger where the wart had been. No pain, just a trace of bloodish stuff and it never came back. Yeah, dumb story, but true.

|1 week 1 day ago||Great Hire||
This is a great hire. I think it helps with all recruits, but even more with out of state recruits/ parents. I think out of state parents will feel better that a team Mom is there for the kids and the parents can contact the team Mom if they have concerns or want to check on their child.
Her education background is a great fit. We are recruiting out of state more and this move will help support that.

The Mi west coast can't be beat. Include a day trip to Mackinaw and a canoe trip on a river for the best time ever!

I'd like his experience back in the return game.
The trip to Utah and Happy Valley at night we could use his sure handed experience.
Hurry back Fleet.

We have a10 wart hogs stationed at Selfridge air force based macomb county michigan on the east side of the Detroit burbs.
The passing camp in A2 will be great because its in the midwest. The Manning Camp is in Thibodaux, LA. Who wants to go to LA in the summer?
|1 week 5 days ago||OL||
It seems like the miss rate at OL was high with Coach Hoke.
I'd rather Harbaugh wait for the OL guys he wants.

Best of luck to Blake.
It sucks for us, but its best for his style of play. I won'y be suprised to see him on Sundays in the right system.
|1 week 6 days ago||Ouch||
This is bad. Jim H is trying to get the program rolling and one of his hand picked guys pulls a no-no like this.
I'm forgiving of 1st offenses where there are no injuried, but many folks are not.

Captains are leaders for the other players to look up to and have someone before the coach to go to.
When I was in high school football the players voted. We wrote our votes down and I always assumed the coaches would fix a problem if needed.
College the coaches picked the captains.
In my sons high school the players voted at the end of the season for the next year. So the out going seniors had a vote. I think that is a great idea. The seniors have a little different prespective of what players played hard for the seniors.

This would be a great way to get Cole on the field.
I'd rather have Peppers get a few plays on O every game than do returns.

Dinner at the house and plenty of Bud Select.

I also grew up in Romulus. Moved out 39 years ago.
I would stay away from Wayne. Belleville might be a better choice. Romulus over by Kelsey Hayes, on New Boston border or right downtown seem to be the best of Rom-Town in my humble opinion.
I'm a Kelsey Hayes area guy - Cogswell.

I like Royal Oak and lived there for 25 years(Troy now), but I think it is over priced now. Nice downtown and most houses have very small yards.
Grosse Pointes are all nice. Very small yards again.
West Livonia might be good for your price range and you can get a decent yard for gardening if you look for the yard part. Its a solid community at a decent costs, but you won't get the downtown young people thing.
I've found with houses you won't find exactly what ya want. What you find you will be happy with. Good Luck!!!
Note - I think I-96 is mean out past Livonia for commuting. If you have time drive rush hour in the areas that interest you.

He has been a dick with a sour attitude from day one. Now that he has been winning he just can't turn it off and act like Sparty has won before. I can't wait until we start beating them again. Then watch him cry.
Sparty fans are like cockroaches now. They are everywhere. When we starting beating them it will be like turning on the light in the kitchen watching them run for cover. You won't be able them like the old days.
Our day is coming again men and victory will be sweet.

Everyone in the biz world has a couple of a-holes that schedule late meetings or lunch meetings. These folks have no life.
I work to live - not live to work.
|2 weeks 6 days ago||Mo Spread||
I'm a few years away from watching high school football now(Son graduated), but the spread was growing like wild fire. Some schools are still back in the wing T(also not a lot of passing). So the pool of training for pro style guys is shrinking.
I'm sure we will see Harbo give a scholarship to a spread kid that can also throw in the next few years. It will be interesting to see what the next big thing is.
Where did the veer offense and the 52 defense go? LOL
|2 weeks 6 days ago||May He||
May he recover so Harbo can cut his heart out with a dull knife on the footbal field.
|3 weeks 4 hours ago||1970's||
I attended college in the 1970's(Walmart Wolverine). The buildings, dorms, athletic areas were clean, but nothing fancy. The dorm food was lower cost, but filling.
When I looked at colleges with my 3 kids I was amazed at the sparkling modern dorms and other fancy buildings. The variety of food choices was also amazing. I am glad the younger generation had first class colleges, but this all comes with a price. Lower student debt with be worth going back to old school college basics.
|3 weeks 4 hours ago||Charlie||
When my kids were young my Bull Terrier had to be put down due to age. The WIfe and I adopted our first dog Charlie. We only adopt now.
We adopted Charlie an over weight 4 year old with loooow energy. She had German shepard coloring and big chest, but a little beagle head and legs. The kids said she looked like Charlie on the movie - All dogs go to heaven. I think she looked goofy, but she turned into a wonderful family friend.
I would suggest a little older(2 - 4 years) , low energy dog with short hair. Most Dogs adapt well.
The current dog Loki is a 23 pound Dachshund mix. The hair is short, but she is a little wild at times, but FUN.

Onwenu looks like he could firm up nicely with one red shirt season.
Harris looks like he will have a weight battle his entire life. When guys his size get a lower body injury it is a slow recovery becuase of those extra pounds.

Great to grab two 5 stars in one day.
Congrats Mgo Dads!!!
|3 weeks 2 days ago||40 Time||
The 4.34 forty yard dash(at pro day) got him the invite.
I hope he makes the best of his shot.
|3 weeks 2 days ago||RB||
Furman was also a RB in high school. I wonder if the M staff ever tried him at RB in practice?? I know he was recruited for D, but we had so many problems running the ball it couldn't have hurt us.
|3 weeks 2 days ago||Beyer||
I think he is smart, tough and a nice player.
The Pro day numbers I found on him were - 265lbs and a high 4.8 forty yard dash.
My 2 cents are
-He can only play DE at that speed.
-He can only play in a 4-3 D at that weight.
-I don't think he is fast/athletic enough to stick in the NFL, but I wish him well with his shot at the big time. Being at starter at U of M is a major accomplishment. I love local guys like him.

I also expected him to go later.
Good luck to Frank the Tank!!!!
|4 weeks 5 hours ago||Door Bell||
I second the earlier post about the door bells. My reason is the my dachshund(Loki) goes batshit crazy thinking someone is at HER door. It takes 2-3 minutes for her to settle down. Whew!!!
