Here is a video with our DC that was just posted by Michigan football. It was a pretty good interview.

Sam Webb just updated his…

Sam Webb just updated his crystal ball for Will. I don’t have an account to 24/7, but it’s there for you that do.

That is the question I want…

That is the question I want to know. Maybe an co-oc/ be coach. Or maybe Ron Bellamy ?. I have no inside information but I think it would be a good promotion for him and well deserved.

It will be interesting to…

It will be interesting to see if the QB’s improve with Jim leading them. I also wonder if any other offensive staff will be replaced and who will be brought in.

My questions are more based…

My questions are more based on who he knows and who he can hire to fill out the defensive staff. And even though the reports say he will be the defensive coordinator, that doesn’t mean he won’t be a co-dc. And will him not being a big name defensive coordinator deter guys from the portal coming?

I totally get it. I think…

I totally get it. I think Harbaugh’s time has run it’s course here. No matter what happens I will definitely support the team. Since I am on here, what’s everyone’s top 3 choices for a replacement if Harbaugh does leave?

It’s just my opinion. I just…

It’s just my opinion. I just feel like it would be like Rich Rod coming in. One of the hottest names out there. Then he gets here and flops. Only reason I bring up Rich Rod is because I sat in his office with him for an hour talking about what was going on to where they couldn’t get over the hump. This was in his last year at Michigan. The obvious was there that he wasn’t a “Michigan guy” and had a lot of push back for things he wanted to do in the program. I guess I say Hoke because he might not have all the luxuries Harbaugh is currently afforded. But again, I could be completely wrong and have anxiety from the past haha

I thought the notion was…

I thought the notion was that if this dragged out this far, Jim was looking at the NFL. It is something people have known about for awhile now. I get the frustration, but I will wait to see how this plays out before directing my frustration. Also, no one knows what is really going on. Could Warde and Jim have an understanding that he should leave? Or could they actually be almost done with a deal? Will anyone of us really knows what happens unless John U writes another book? Everything suggests he wants to go back to the NFL. If so, let him go on his way. And don’t neg me for this, but I am not on the Matt Campbell can turn Michigan around train. I see Campbell as a Brady Hoke type coach at Michigan. Maybe I have trauma from our previous hires haha.

I would be lying if I didn’t…

I would be lying if I didn’t throw Muschamps name in the ring. Also Derrick Mason would have to be in the discussion.

Dude looks like a heat…

Dude looks like a heat seeking missile. He seems to have good vision at tracking the ball carrier. His closing speed is pretty good as well. I would definitely welcome him if he chooses to come.

I agree 100%. I get why…

I agree 100%. I get why people are mad we take 3* kids and I get why people are happy for the kid. Truth is, we are now where close to the recruiting the big time programs like Ohio State are. I am on the side that a coach that gets $8 million a year should have better recruiting and production than what we have had. I also believe that if Harbaugh left we aren’t going to sink. I’m ok with taking a shot on 3* kids but I agree we should take more raw athletes.

God Bless him and your…

God Bless him and your family. Hope everything is good with him!

Thank you! It is truly…

Thank you! It is truly amazing to see how many vets are on this page. It’s always fun for me to read everyone’s stories.

Thank you for that. And also…

Thank you for that. And also thank you for your service as well!

I graduated three months…

I graduated three months early from high school in 2003 so I could get to basic as quick as I could. The 9/11 situation motivated me to serve. I couldn’t wait to go. I graduated basic is late 2003 and was sent to my unit. I was told that late 2004, early 2005 I would be deploying to Iraq. The first deployment was interesting due to being young and getting my first taste of war. Skip to 2007 for another deployment to Iraq. This one would unfortunately be my last in the Army. June 11 of that year (which would be coincidently Friday the 13th) would be a day that lives with me forever. We were living in the Bayji Oil refinery at the time, which is the largest oil refinery in Iraq. We set out for a normal mission that day. The day felt different to me for some reason. Well, later that day my truck was hit with a 600 pound IED ( our trucks had cameras so I have a video of the IED going off and pictures of the truck after). We were up in a mountainside so I had to be air lifted to to a hospital in Iraq and sent straight to Germany not long after. I had a lot of injuries going on at the time and spent about 3 weeks in Germany. I was then sent to Georgia where I lived for a year so I could get help with my traumatic brain injury. I had to get in a harness and work on balancing myself. I was then sent to Ft Campbell, Ky so I could have my surgery for a shoulder injury due to the IED. I spent another year there to work on more things, physical and mental. The Army then decided to medically retire me due to the injuries and downgrading of personal at the time. The one thing that always kept me motivated during these times were Michigan football. Rich Rod just took over, but the games gave me a piece of mind.  I now live in South Bend where I was born and raised ( unfortunately haha). If I had the chance to do it over again I would give anything. If anyone is interested in the video or pictures out of curiosity you can email me at [email protected] and I would be more than willing to send it. And as always GO BLUE! I would love the tickets. And give him a huge thank you for doing this.

It seems like we can get a…

It seems like we can get a great player (Peppers, Gary type) but we can’t get multiple great players. It feels like we always miss out on these types of guys. Recruiting is good but nowhere near where it needs to be to compete for national championships. It seems like we are light years behind the big dogs in recruiting.

Isn’t there talk of Crouch…

Isn’t there talk of Crouch being a LB? I have seen his RB film and he looked pretty good.

10-2 with a loss to either…

10-2 with a loss to either MSU or Wisky.

Michael Spath just tweeted…

Michael Spath just tweeted that he was told not to expect to have clear evidence of Blacks rumored injury one way or the other. So there goes my, “wait until practice tonight to see what’s going on” theory.

I guess we will find out…

I guess we will find out something about Black tonight at the scrimmage. I do remember Rashan dealing with a shoulder injury last year and he seemed to do pretty good. Can’t wait for the 1st!

The weather down here sucks…

The weather down here sucks. It seems to always rain on ND home openers. I am for whatever weather helps us!

I think the offense is going…

I think the offense is going to have some hiccups. Hopefully the defense can get some turnovers and maybe score a TD as well. Living in South Bend is horrible. All I hear is how bad we sucked last year and there is no chance we can beat them.

I would like it to be…

I would like it to be Samuels. He is pretty jacked and has some good speed. I would like the freshmen to be involved heavily in this race as well.

Any word on the 3rd RB…

Any word on the 3rd RB battle?

If I already have a parking…

If I already have a parking spot can I still party haha

The tailgating isn’t…

The tailgating isn’t horrible there. Not the best. Passes for lots are crazy. ND fans are already starting the crap talking so I imagine there fans will be pretty crappy that weekend.

I live in a South Bend. What…

I live in a South Bend. What kind of tailgate are you looking to do? I usually go to the library lot which is a lot calmer. The Joyce lot is where most people go and all of the excitement happens. Passes for those lots are currently outrageous.

Awesome get! This is one…

Awesome get! This is one name I haven’t been hearing on the boards. Seems to be more to come as well.

We are going

My fiancé, son and my self are all going to have a custom number on our jersey that coincides with the date of the wedding. So when we take pictures you'll see 7-1-17. I can get either 7 or 17.

My future

My future wife unfortunately scheduled them to be taken in there.

It seems

It seems like every 2XL customizable jersey has been bought.

Need Help

Need help. I am getting married July 1 and unfortunately I live in South Bend and my pictures will be in ND stadium. I am looking to buy a custom football jersey where I can get my name and a specific number on it. Problem is I cannot find a 2XL jersey on any sites. Is there anywhere out there that anyone knows of that does this?

Hope we hire another Poly

Hope we hire another Poly coach. On another note, Drew Singleton is announcing tomorrow but I can't make a main post.

6 Years old

Mine started when I was about 6 years old. Born and raised in South Bend I grew a deep hatred for the Irish. My mom loved Michigan and dad loved the Irish. Glad I choose the good guys.

I appreciate it

I love being able to be around other veterans. It also allows us to do some fun stuff.

I appreciate it

I will ask him that. Thank you for doing that deed! I have also wondered what the QB situation really looks like.

Screech

His on screen cousin. He has to know what he is up too. And I will also have a chance to speak with the other coaches as well. I'll give Urban a big ole GO BLUE!

Questions

I was going to go opposite of Colin Cowherd haha. I appreciate it guys. I might ask about the interview.

Veteran

I am a veteran and participated in this when Rich Rod was here. It was an amazing time. Being on the 50 yard line when the guys ran out and touched the banner was one of the best things I have ever done. Hope some deserving vets get to enjoy the experience.

Receipt

Hopefully you still have the receipt to take that gift back.

Brothers or BDUBs

No matter where you go here it will be a hassle. But brothers is right by the stadium and usually is a good time. BDUBS is not as packed and is also a good time. Any where else people usually get stupid and act a fool.

Michigan fan in South Bend

All I have been hearing from everyone here in South Bend is how Golson is going to pick us apart and we have no chance. I can't wait for this weekend and a Michigan victory.

Alabama

I know everyone thinks Ohio is the favorite to land him but I wouldn't count out Saban and his voodoo. Sad to see him go but we seem to have a good stable of backs for the future. We also seem to be in good contention with some 2016 backs.

35-7 Mich

Good guys win 35-7

I wish I

was being held captive. We have a huge meeting on Monday so we are packed up in the room to get all our stuff sqaured away.

Does anyone

know a good place for a live stream for the game. I am stuck in Atlanta on business and won't be able to leave my hotel today.

I remember

When I was apart of the military appreciation day against Illinois a couple years ago. I got to stand on the 50 yard line under the banner when the guys ran out. Hearing over a 100,000 fans while on the feild was crazy.

It will

Be interesting since Tommy Rees will be starting tonight.

I have hade

To deal with those guys before at a buddies funeral. We were on one side and they were on the other side. So tempting to hit them.
