This does feel heavy handed. But at the same time, what did they really do? Give a probation and a show cause to coaches who weren’t gonna coach in college anyway?
To me, this reeks of bumbling administrators taking actions to justify their salary.
I was going to cheer for Purdue, but then OP reminded of how Purdue sided with the schools that dragged our name through the mud and tried to de-rail our season during Stallions-gate.
Nuts to the rest of the Big Ten. We should leave this conference or get proportional revenue for football.
I need Warde to explain why/if he is in good terms with Tony Petite-D. That guy stabbed us in the back, and there is no excuse to be chummy with him… unless it’s to get close enough to stab him in the back.
How much did the backloaded schedule contribute to the lack of injuries this year? I know Zinter broke his leg, but did we just have good luck with injuries, or was it the by-product of an easy(ish) schedule?
My thought (without knowing him) is that he’s already won a Natty. His goal is to be an NFL DE. So going to the draft gets him closer to that goal (at least in his mind) than coming back. Nothing left to accomplish (in his mind) at school.
Uncle Urban covered up domestic violence allegations. You think he wouldn’t act in his own best interests, too? He’s already proven he would, to the detriment of friends.
2016 The Game: JT was short. But people aren’t pointing out what led up to that. ZERO live action penalties called on Ohio in that game. Refs did not give UM a fair shake.
2018 The Game. Lost to Uncle Urban after it was revealed he covered up domestic violence allegations made that loss STING.
2009 SCF Game 7: losing to that crybaby Crosby when we were the better team and then Crosby getting away with snubbing Wings in handshake line made that loss STING.
I expect Warde to get those guarantees sooner. If the reports were true, and he did end up offering immunity, then I have to ask/wonder: why not sooner?

Where can I get accurate replicas?!
While we’re at it, Rick Pitino is still coaching.
And, of course, Urban Meyer and Gene Smith were allowed to continue working in the NCAA after they covered up domestic violence allegations.

Maybe the NCAA said if you don’t answer the phone, we’re giving you a show-cause, and they just said whatever.
A show-cause? Really? Urban Meyer didn’t get a show-cause for covering up domestic violence allegations.

Thank you for not swearing! 🙂
Cam Newton just heard about this, looked at Nate Oats, and shook his head in disgust.

A Show Cause order? Urban Meyer didn’t get a show cause for covering up domestic violence allegations.

Wrong thread, delete!
I will Grant you that bet! 😁
I feel like a playoff without auto bids will basically shake out to what a playoff WITH auto bids would look like most years anyway. 🤷♂️
He smells nice, huh?
Eternal rest grant unto him…
But if that fart came from eating a cheeseburger…
Screwed himself by coming back?
Henderson heard that, looked up, then looked back down and continued polishing his Natty ring. 😂

How many games is Tiny Tony going to suspend Ryan Day for?
I thought he was calling Tiny Tony a shitbag…
We got at least 2 months before we gotta worry bout that!
UNLESS they buy said player a cheeseburger…
Jimbo’s got a lotta money to count.
I would say the administrators in the NCAA are the ones getting rich. (And they do/did so by keeping money away from the players)
I have no faith in Tony Petiti to look out for the B1G’s best interests.
Your post seems to imply that Bama went after Sabb BEFORE he entered the portal. *takes bite of a cheeseburger * We know that didn’t happen!
/s
I heard the cheeseburgers in Tuscaloosa are delicious.
He might have been offered a couple of cheeseburgers.
…
I can forgive Tiny Tony.
But first, he needs to show he is sorry. Step down or accept termination. And then apologize for his gutless actions.
Bo forgot the most important thing…
Do you listen to the MGoPodcast?
The new millennium didn’t start until 2001.
Does that make me the only accountant on this board?
Imma go with 5, except for when they play the Lions.
im grateful to Harbaugh and it’s good for UM imho
Better weather in LA?
Mercury Hayes last second TD!
Uncle…
Ok. Seriously.
Uncle Urban covered up domestic violence allegations. You think he wouldn’t act in his own best interests, too? He’s already proven he would, to the detriment of friends.
Never compare Jim to Uncle Urban again.
Plus the ticky tack calls on UM

Didn’t Brandon Graham win a Super Bowl?
Only if they offer him cheeseburgers.

I cringe when I see players drop the ball as they enter the end zone. It’s just pointless showboating. Creates a completely unnecessary risk.
Of course I will root for Jim (except when they play the Lions). We will always have 2023.
Will he win? I don’t know, but he’s a great coach. Wouldn’t surprise me.
The suspensions are…
Yes.
The suspensions are BS.
He won us a Natty.
He is welcome for life.
I agree. The question is: where?
Pete Carroll did okay at USC. Kirby Smart is doing well at UGA.
I’m still busy basking in the afterglow of the 2023 Natty.
Ask me again at the end of July.
