|22 hours 33 min ago||think uconn can get a kickstarter||
To hire narduzzi, and by kickstarter I mean large donation to UConn from Steven Ross.
As to the "beat the best" crowd, I didn't mind beating Bobby Williams, Lou tepper, ron Turner, Gerry dinardo, bob davie, or john l smith. Get over yourselves.
At this point Dantonio has proven to be a hell of a coach. I'm just hoping this is a urban meyer / dan mullen situation, where it takes a couple seasons for dantonio to figure out how to replace his top assistant.

Mxl is primarily run by Prof Jamie Cutler (Aero Dept, who's up for tenure this year!) and focuses on cubesat payloads primarily out of Aero. Its about 5-6 yrs old.
S3FL is mostly run out of AOSS with a focus on smallsat missions investigating electric propulsion systems and related technologies. S3FL gets advocacy from Prof's Brian Gilchrist (EECS & AOSS) and Alec Gallimore (Aero & AOSS & CoE Deans Office). S3FL officially has been around since the mid to late 90s, but hasn't flown as many missions as MXL, because they were focusing on non-cubesat missions. Lots of cross talk between faculty involved, students eh, not so much. S3FL got hurt a little by not going into cubesats right away and hitching to SPRL facilities and staff, which more and more have been shifted towards the climate change mafia in control of AOSS now.
Right now big decision is whether to transition S3FL with SPRL to a research cooperative that can take on classified research like Texas A&M, USC are doing, and leave MXL to Cutler's non-classified research.

I'm worried a little as a tigers fan. That move now frees up a lot of Yankees cash and cashmam has shown propensity to build good teams when not hamstrung by his own stupid Mega single player deals.
|3 weeks 4 days ago||i just watched the hockey clip||
And a warm tingly feeling all over. The announcers, the ass kicking of bg, the cheering of gassoff, the van ryn throwing the bg guys stick over the boards to the student section... this is why we need a time machine, marty.
|3 weeks 4 days ago||co-signed on old yost||
Was a student from 96-2002 and yeah starting about 2001 students started getting tix to be part of the experience vs being hockey fans first and foremost. The organic energy of making that midget shit goalie from western actually cry on ice, ortelling the ref he was wrong on the icing call because he had expanding ass pants didn't need a facebook page or organized group to make it happen. It just did because there were smart hockey fans there. I read an interesting piece the other day about how social media and the internet have decreased barriers but reduced the development of local communities since everyone's "so connected". I wonder if that's the case for hockey fandom at yost too. Pre-facebook, yost fans were a cult that you had to be initiated in via fire tinged battles against ron mason's skating goon circus. Now you just have to "like" something and dance so you get on youtube. Now get off my lawn.
Btw- bob gassoff is old yost fans bill brasky. "I once saw bob gassoff take his skate off during a game and disembowel a st cloud st mascot on the ice. True story."

"According to Dr. Jens Persson from the Swedish Wolverine Project,"....
and I was surprised to continue reading and see it was about the claws of wolverines, not Red's secret recruiting team in a safehouse in Stockholm trying to find the next Carl Hagelin. Oh well.

|7 weeks 1 day ago||wow.||
First two weekends of the season after we lost our top two 1st rd nhl defencemen, huge questions in goal, a suspended top scorer, and a loss to a canadian college team, and we have 3 quality wins and a tie over 2 top 5 teams with a backup goalie in net for one of them. Sounds like for this season, I picked the wrong time to give up sniffing glue.

The commie bastards all at once. They go on a long march and only thehardiest ideologues survive, forming an ideologically pure enemy.
Or at least that's what I learned from reruns of fraggle rock on cbc.

It still disappoints me that as a USAF member I can't play Annapolis. We let u sea slugs on our tracks. :)

Unm and Eisenhower blue. Unm is a meticulously kept course in a notoriously arid locale. Eisenhower blue is basically mountain golf perfection. If u get a chance to play Eisenhower blue, stick around and play the silver. Shorter but more twisty.
|21 weeks 2 days ago||totally depends on your daughter||
As a hs recruiter for michigan, u want to make it awesome for HER so that she walks away with an impression that she wants to go there, not that dad wants her to go there so he can get football tix/play the golf course/visit the microbrews/etc. A couple things:
|24 weeks 3 days ago||northern michgan||
Inlaws have a big cottage between alpena and Rogers city. Lake access, good beer store in alpena (Jimmy's) and relaxation.
|26 weeks 3 days ago||sounds like your dad likes more mass friendly beer||
A good bridge into craft brewing with a michigan connection is sam adams cherry wheat. Made with michigan cherries (even in last years disaster of a cherry season, sammy adams still managed to buy enough cherries for their needs from a traverse city grower I know), its still relatively light in "beer flavor", has delicious cherry overtone, and is a great summer drinking beer. Plus with u being under 21, sam adams is pretty easy to find and your mom/older sister/uncle/aunt can easily ask for sam adams cherry wheat without getting confused.
Otherwise, find your local microbrewer and purchase an empty growler from them for your dad and tape a $20 to it so he can buy the beer for it. Plus he'll probably pass it on to u in some time :)
