I hope Jack Miller makes this his OL.
Rooting for him big time.

One stat I'll forever remember: Mike Hart's fumble for a safety in that game was his 666th career carry.
Spooky: since the 2013 season ended, Braxton Miller has 666 career passing attempts for the buckeyes. He's had to have two shoulder surgeries since.

The only known video of that game that's available is the coaches film.
Maybe the game was televised locally in 1971. But this is not the first time I've heard that the 1971 game wasn't televised nationally due to the outcome of the game not deciding the Big Ten/Rose Bowl berth.
I'd sure love to find footage of that 1971 game in TV format, so I hope you're correct and I stumble upon some local footage of that game that's in broadcast set.

Curious if it was for celebration or extracurriculars.
If they were for celebrations, who cares.
|1 day 7 hours ago||Oh||
So you're saying it was televised. A day later, but still televised.
The Purdue game in 1994 was not televised. No tape delay, no nothing.

It's not me, actually. But thanks for the name drop!
It's cute you're whining about points on an internet board.

You started class at Michigan just months after I was born. Crazy.
Also, MU and Memphis were both televised.
WH has Memphis on his channel and MU 1995 is a game I have and will be uploading when it's not the season. It would be completely pointless to my subscribers to upload an old game in the middle of the season when I get mail from more and more people wanting the current stuff.

If anything it shows the jealousy of the sparty fans.
No one grows up a state fan unless their parents went there.
Mine didn't go to Michigan, but when I was born I had a plush Michigan Football in my hospital crib they put newborns in. There's photos of me in little #32 (for A-Train) jerseys from when I was 4-5.
This isn't North Korea. People can cheer for who they want. I didn't go to Cass Tech, but I've been to quite a few of their games since they're a pipeline school for Michigan and they aren't that far away from me.
As long as you're an educated fan and not a stereotypical t-shirt fan, it doesn't matter.

I didn't get to watch the game vs Ball State in 2006 because we didn't have ESPNU.
Listening to the radio broadcast was very scary. That game got way too close because Carr took out the starters too early IIRC.
The coach of that Ball State team had his team ready to play, that's for sure.

I think you're thinking of 2010 at Indiana. That game was on ESPNU but probably also on ESPN3.
I remember being annoyed at it being ESPNU because we couldn't find the HD ESPNU channel.

1994 at Purdue.
I have highlights of that game but they are from the pressbox, maybe coach's film, with a narrator.

I have WH video of over 90% of the games Michigan has played from 1985-present. I've watched that Purdue 5-0 game quite a bit.
And I was born in July 1995.

Carr was #96. He got carries on two occasions that I know of. 1995 vs Purdue (the 5-0 win) that was stuffed and 1996 at Purdue in a 9-3 loss where Carr fumbled and PU ran back.

Did anyone see Maurice Hurst doing his best Will Carr impression?
Michigan's goal line TD run had Hurst at fullback.

Michigan played Maryland several times, most recently in 1990. So that would be Michigan's last win over an ACC team who was in the ACC at the time.
Michigan played North Carolina, Duke, Wake Forest, Virginia and Maryland in the regular season from the 1960s-1990s.
Michigan's only losses against true ACC teams are against UNC in 1966 and the 1979 Gator Bowl.
Other than that, Michigan's 7 other losses against ACC teams are against teams who weren't actually in the ACC at the time they played but are now. (Syracuse, Miami and Florida State).
Michigan has a 29-9-1 record against the ACC.
|2 days 6 hours ago||Against the current ACC,||
Against the current ACC, Michigan's last win over an ACC team--and last regular season game against an ACC team--was at Syracuse in 1999.
If you're talking about if they were ACC at the time Michigan played them, then yes, Virginia was the last win over a team who was in the ACC at the time.
After that Virginia game in 1995, Michigan beat Boston College in 1995 and 1996, also.
