Guys like Pete are just playing a character for clicks and ratings. You can't take it so literally. They make some fan bases happy and other ones really mad... and either way both of them pay attention to the guy and that's all that matters.
I definitely think coach Harbaugh has noticed all the fun, energy, and great attitude combined with success that coach Howard brought to the basketball team... and I wonder if that may have a small part in some of the changes we've seen in Jim over the past year.
I had season tickets through the mid to late 90s into the early 00s, when Michigan had control of the rivalry. Back then, there were still plenty of OSU fans in the stadium. The difference is that Michigan was winning the games... so the Ohio fans shut the hell up and it was entertaining to watch them walking out with their heads hung down. The same thing could happen again if Michigan would, you know, actually beat OSU.
Most OSU fans don't care about appearances. As long as the team is winning, particularly against Michigan, they will excuse a lot. Tressel is a hero in Columbus and he's the guy that got the program punished by the NCAA.
Manoloff was the guy who wrote an article a couple weeks back lamenting the fact that OSU would have to play two good teams (MSU/UM) on back to back weekends! OH NOO!!
Interesting.... I wonder if I should grab a couple tickets, or just keep an eye on SubHub as the event gets closer as suggested by the OP.
Have they announced how this is going to work? Is there a ticket for each game / arena setup separately? Presumably there are seats that exist for the basketball part on the floor that would not be there for hockey.... plus, people are going to want to leave during the changeover.
Non-Michigan people I work with keep telling me about how Harbaugh won't be around very long because the way he talks and acts is so annoying. They have no idea how entertaining we actually find it...

The CFP will do anything they can to get OSU into the playoffs, because their fans travel, etc. and it's all about the money.
A 1-loss OSU team would even get the nod ahead of a 1-loss Oklahoma team this year, sadly.
Doug L from Cleveland.com was shocked by the Harbaugh tweet and called it "the most personal attack in the OSU-Michigan rivalry I've ever seen".
He then guessed that Harbaugh would be forced to apologize... That was, you know, before Gene Smith aplogized.

If anyone doesn't know, the kid was interviewed on a segment for Game Day- so he's definitely connected with ESPN now.
They showed how people are marketing T-shirts with him on it, and he doesn't get a cent for that.

I can't stand the thought of OSU going on another late-season run as a result of a Penn State upset and winning another championship.
Let Sparty advance because they did beat UM and OSU, and then let them lose next week to Iowa.

Towards the end of the OSU / Indiana game, the announcers declared that OSU has the best defense in the country (yes, they really did).

I love the dumb looks on Meyer and OSU player's faces when things don't go well... Granted, you don't see it a lot lately, but it's nice.
Geez, VA Tech can't take advantage of the big penalty or stop them on 4th and 5. Can't see this ending well already.
