If we ever have the culture of Penn State, where we remain enthused, blindly devoted to individuals who didn't followup on reports of child rape, form human walls to protect the removal of statutes of said person, and convinced this is all some illumanti style plot to ruin us, I'll mail the ashes of my degree back to the school and start telling people I spent 18 to 22 in the Marines because the judge told me it was the military or jail.

You realize in between amazing and sucks, is special teams/always second on the depth charts/gets to play the second half versus cupcakes kind of guys right? Guys who neither suck nor are amazing.

Then after all that, Big Will is drafted as an offensive guard. I'll think back to some of the issues we had on guard at times if I ever see Big Will develop in a reliable NFL starter as a guard,

Crisler (3), 2008 Offense (1), David Cone (1), 1901 Defense (5), 2011 Schedule (5).
1901 Defense gave up exactly 0 points the entire season. However now I have to worry about INTs returned for pick sixes but I play all the cupcakes. Can Crisler make this team function on offense or will it be a game of if my defense can outscore their defense?

Yost, Denard , 1985 Offense, 1997 Defense, 2012 Schedule.
I have one of the most freakishly fast running QBs, Jamie Morris who averages 5.5 yards per carry and held records that lasted until the A-Train came along. Morris also holds the records for receptions by a RB at Michigan. Running all of this is Yost's physical assault and run first guru. Coupled with a National Championship Defense.that has Woodson, Sword, etc.
Bring on the 2012 schedule, we'll run the table. Denard's passing issues would be mitigated due to the power run game and Yost's skills in working without the forward pass.
I would argue for Navarre as the two dollar option. Servicable, can beat tOSU with the properly tools, but not as game breaking as Denard when paired with a coach who was not passing focused. With the above you could also take Bo, drop one level of offense, and still be deadly.

Should be RR IMHO. Leaves you with money to either go all in on offense and an easier schedule or try to balance him with tons of defense talent.
Could do RR (2), Leach (4), 2000 Offense (5), 2014 Schedule (3), and the 2010 Defense (1) and hope to win every game 77 to 63.
Or RR (2), Denard (2), 2000 Offense (5), 1997 Defense (4), and 2007 Schedule (2) .
If you look outside Michigan, someone like Pelini would be a great 2, he's 8 or 9 wins base and then you pick what kind of talent to buy him. Maybe Tiller or Ferentz for that matter.

I would echo this, coupled with the fact the overall quality of the staff is not such I care to support a large print publication. As opposed to being mostly great, the writing has been more hit or miss recently. I'm not going to put down money for a book where I think a number of the contributers are poor sports writers. In a digital format of course I can just skim or not read their articles and I can consume via the purchase of other items from the MGoStore. I just have little interest in a publication that I'll only enjoy a portion of and given how the entire MGoBrewmom saga when down my willingless to buy purely for the sake of support is gone. I'll buy and donate but only when I consider the product as good. I've bought multiple copies the last few years, but this year I'll just get a shirt or something from the store at some point.

A number of things come to mind. Yes, clearly you do not get it. Page 7 has an excellent section featuring comments by people like Crime Reporter who clearly do get it and are actual journalists. Perhaps that area might help you get it.
Secondly, we have a favorite saying around here, about "Everyone murders people" from one Mr. Pryor. Your attempts to defend your usage of Twitter, despite complaints about it showing a lack of professionalism and ethics does at times seem to tread in that direction, even more so when you cannot even offer up an example of a respected peer doing the same thing with social media.
As others have said the fact you do it in such a copy and paste manner that reminds one of spam and you do not speak to the parents as part of your normal process does not sit well with myself and many others. Say you were doing women's basketball, how would you reach out to a 16 year old AAA prospect?

Since everyone does it with Twitter, I trust you will have problem showing me this with links or screenshots of other names in the recruiting world doing this, because looking over TomVH and Sam Webb's Twitter, I see nothing at all that appears analgous to your method of contact. I've gone back a month on each account without seeing it.

So you just scattergun all the Twitter handles of 2015 kids? What's your success rate for getting follow backs that allow you to DM them and speak with them? Getting a high response rate with just that one line seems unlikely and a low response rate means a low quality piece.

When Persa ducks his head in the process of a tackle and Kovac gets the side of his helmet, not the facemask, it's not a foul. Thanks for the extra yards though Fitzgerald.

Gibbons kicks the PATS low. Why did we seriousily think he'd be good for a 47 yard one? Should have gone for it. RPS -1.

So when Ebert sticks his hand out, Michigan gets the PI call?

This call could go either way really. I think we get the call because of the ruling on the field and the lack of indisputable evidence.

Because Pelini structured his recruiting so he'd only have like 3 good players this year. Not sure why he did that...

What's with all the farming machinery/seeds/fertilizer commercials on BTN? I can't imagine that NW-Michigan draws a lot of views from farmers. You'd think the companies would save their money for Iowa-Neb.
|2 years 39 weeks ago||We need to calm Denard down.||
We need to calm Denard down. We have people open. He's just gunning off his back foot and making bad things happen. When he does settle down and plant he's managing good throws.
On the defensive side, we need to stop putting them in bad spots with the turnovers and adjust to this option.

They're calling ticky tacky holds on Huyge but letting NW tackle our defenders. Also it looks like we're about to gift NW a few seconds.

I hate to blame the refs, but I hope we complain to the conference about this crew. Multiple missed holds, even the announcers are pointing them out, and now they aren't calling clear forward progress stops.

This announcers are horrible. They seriousily think Denard needs the element of surprise to get half a yard.
