The best available research show it's not about concussions as it is about repeated micro trauma.
The most important part to remember is the trauma that happens in practice; when and where there are no ATC or appropriately training medical professionals around to intervene when there is an event; and there are many.
School systems load up on game day medical personal, but the damage is already done.
By far the highest percentage of these are former football players.
CTE is an epidemic among former football players.
When testing catches up to accurate diagnosis of CTE among living players; we will find that there is a very high incidence of CTE among current college, pro and in smaller percentages HS players.
MVCD doesn't really run an offense. They have sets the run through but mostly rely on athletic ability of players to make plays. Reminded me of an AAU offense. Jackson is Uber athletic, long, smooth, plays passing lanes well, really commands the floor with that team. He has no hesitation slashing to the basket. Doesn't shy away from chucking up some seriously horrific positions on the floor.
That being said, he's going be really good once M coaches have an opportunity to polish him. He possess all the tools.

If anyone was aware of the sexual assault happening to women on the MSU campus from the office of the President, Board of Trustees, athletic department, faculty & campus police, and didn’t say or do anything about it, they should be fired.
if your son ever got his Bell run, saw stars after a hit.
Concussive events include: a variety of physical, and emotional symptoms, which may not be recognized if subtle. A variety of signs accompany concussion including headache, feeling in a fog, and emotional changeability. In general, the signs can be categorized into physical signs (such as loss of consciousness or amnesia), behavioral changes (such as irritability), cognitive impairment (such as slowed reaction times), and sleep disturbances.
He would be the first player ever to play and NOT have a concussive event.
I was driving back from my office in Toledo down I75 last even and followed a VaTech University police cruiser for about 40 miles. Take it for what it is.....to me it's a great sign!
Here is something you need to remember: You do not to have loss of consciousness to have a concussive event. Any stinger or kid getting his bell rung making or getting tackled qualifies as a possblie concussive event.
Also your threshold for brain injury decreases with each successive event.
So go back in your memory banks an reassess if you witnessed any of these events.
I treat people with Mild Traumatic Brain Injury from many different sources in my practice.

Really what needs to happen is Houstan play consistently like the NBA first round lock he's suppose to be.
So far based on what we've seen from him, he'd be better off playing here a couple years.
Hes certainly not an offensive juggernaut and his defense has been suspect.
At this point in the season all the regulars have assorted bumps and bruises.
Its the difference between playing hurt vs playing injured.

I love all this talk about NIL revenue. Now that it's all out in the open so is the tax liability.
Under the table is difficult to tax.
