i would find this more credible if it was about Tom Crean

|5 hours 26 min ago||I could be convinced otherwise...||
....but I didn't mind dynamic pricing. Most people can't but tickets directly from the school, so going to a game likely means buying from a friend or ticket scalper. Having dynamic pricing allows for the school to reap the benefits (or pitfalls) of changing prices, not the ticket scalper. I would prefer it that way. Like I said, I can be convinced otherwise.
This is probably one of the best years in many for Michigan to reap the benefits from dynamic ticket pricing. Having a nive home slate and HARBAUGH and all means tickets are probably going to be priced higher this year. This is clearly something Brandon would not do...and I like that.

I remember Hidecki so so well! Those signs were as well known as Faz of Hello Pizza.
I knew Trent Thompson pretty well. He was the MSA President a couple years before. There was some controversy around his election, but he was a solid guy through and through.
Dear Lord. I remember BAMN and their intolerable leader, Jessica Walter (or something like that). To this day, I cannot support their cause simply because they were such assholes.

Type in Zoltan Kovacs in to Google. Its quite a common name in Hungary, apparently.

This was something my friends and I were talking about. We think JB has maybe 5 years at most left before he retires. And we think that JB will continue to drive the program upwards and onwards. The next guy we hire might be the biggest more crucial decision in our program to date.
|3 days 17 hours ago||I didn't say Izzo was a better recruiter per se||
I just think Izzo is a more consistent recruiter. He has has some injuries, some very significant (maybe not as bad as us), but he always seems to plug someone else in, teach them up and look good doing it. His results speak for himself.
|3 days 17 hours ago||Losing those guys...||
...certainly were a big factor in our results this season. More consistent recruiting would remedy the situation to a certain extent. Remember, we were playing like ass before we lost Walton and Levert.
Let me be clear, I like JB and I don't want him fired - I want him here as long as he wants to be. Still, its hard for me think that we couldn't piece something together to get into the NIT.
|3 days 17 hours ago||I can respect your opinion||
Overall, I think JB is a superior basketball mind compared to Izzo, but JB just doesn't recruit consistently enough. This is where Izzo is clearly dominant.
|3 days 18 hours ago||yea. A big fat pussy||
|3 days 18 hours ago||And Izzo kindly returned the favor this year||
He's won 3 straight against us.
|3 days 18 hours ago||Honestly||
I can't help but think that Izzo could have done some real damage with our team this year. Maybe not win the big ten, but at least get us into the NIT (maybe NCAA).
Sorry, it's time like this where I'm reminded that we just need to wait for Izzo to retire before we can claim any sort of superiority of MSU.

...I agree for the most part. I went to Ross for MBA and it was the best decision of my professional life. Many JDs came over to Ross because they figured out the shit of having a career in law.
The only negative is that Ross (like most top MBA programs) don't really accept students right out of undergrad. Gotta get about 5 years of good experience.

I can go for days about this. (Just like I can go for days to convince people that Roger Moore was the best Bond). The way I see it, its who play's the character that makes it. Blofeld was played by 4 people. Personally, I think Telly Savalas was best.
On the flip side, I thought Michael Lonsdale was phenominal as Drax. The movie was average and I didn't like Drax as a villian per se, but it was a good performance by the Michael Lonsdale.

Dontcha know that every MSU got into michigan as well, but decided to go to MSU instead.

Please remind where anyone in this thread (including myself) said that JB should be fired.

...different ideas of what "inflammatory" means.
|2 weeks 6 days ago||I get it now||
JB has a Lloyd Carr "untouchable" quality about him. You can't even give one ounce of constructive criticism without being jumped on. I should know better.
|2 weeks 6 days ago||Yawn||
You sound like Izzo.
|2 weeks 6 days ago||Pump the brakes!||
Read my post again. I simply critqued JB's coaching this year, that's all. I made no inference to wanting him fired. I have not turned on him. I hope he stays.
Take five, man.
|2 weeks 6 days ago||Of course it wasn't his fault||
But those are really just excuses for some bad coaching this year. The perplexing coaching decisions (i.e. autobench, inbound passing schemed, etc.) have been discussed in length here, so I won't rehash it. These things more or less kept us out of the NIT.
Amaker had no problem making the NIT every year, but one (the sanction year would have made the NIT) with average recruits and middling coaching. JB hasn't made the NIT twice.
As mentioned, I like JB. I'm not advocating that he gets fired. I hope he stays as long as we wants. And I hope he learns from this year. Next year will be interesting to say the least.
|2 weeks 6 days ago||If we don't even make the NIT, well||
That's gonna really sting. No one to blame but JB for that. I love him and all, but to not even make the NIT is pretty embarrassing.
I guess we can drop that Kentucky '13 comparison. At least they were an NCAA bubble team and made the NIT.
I'll be hoping for a miracle this weekend...
|3 weeks 8 hours ago||Or...||
...it was because of some poor coaching that these kids are not better positioned to earn these awards.
I like JB, but this year was perplexing with some of his coaching decisions. I agree that the deck was stacked against him, but we are about 5 games below of where we should be this year.
