I had a dream we were back in the Lloyd Carr days and the game was played on South U... so it was literally a game on the street. I was a WR, but didn't play, i was on the sidelines (sidewalk). It made no sense, but it was awesome.

It's past the point of affordability, so...loans, grants, and apply for a ton of scholarships.
I was at michigan 2002-2006, my mom didn't pay anything, (to her credit, she paid for me to go to a jesuit hs back home in nyc). Luckily i got 50% in grant money, ~15% in scholarship, some work study and paid for about ~35% in loans.
I have no kids but i'm sure as hell scared of this very topic. I guess they'd just have to borrow money and i'd help where i can.

I really hope you're right... but what if 1 of those losses was to tennessee, and then they end up beating Tennessee in the SEC Championship? I just see it playing out in my head. I guess if i were to continue the point I was going to make is that, there's this virtuous cycle of bias giving SEC teams more opportunities to win more championships, which then gives them the benefit of the doubt for next season.
EDIT: Also, what if one of the conference winners of the PAC, B1G, or ACC was a 2 loss team as well. (or a one loss Big 12 winner, without a title game...Oklahoma opens against Houston!)

Alabama would get in with even 2 losses, that's how much bias there is. Credit for scheduling USC for the first game of the season, but Chattanooga in November?
Bamas projection shouldn't surprise you, the only thing in their way is if LSU can win the SEC west, IMO.

I didn't quite catch this either- my only guess is that Harbaugh is so into X's and O's, and so maniacal, that not even MSU won't have an advantage of being "more motivated" as an underdog...maybe? That ill i've got.

If this attempt fails, the Pac12, Big Ten, Big 12, and any other conferences that want in should just ignore the rule and see what the ncaa does. If they try to bring a hammer down then the conferences should start their own athletic association.
I'm not mad at the SEC or ACC, they're playing their best cards, but no one else should be helping them.

Not criticizing your point, just highlighting something that is a common thought on MGoBlog (which is a fair question.) How often do the warm weather schools play away in November at colder climates? Not that often, with the exceptions of games like Texas @ WVU- which is in-conference anyway.
But, that said, ND is a very rare exception.
